But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves--and herself--while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love. Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable--and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships. Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so

Likes : Wow for a sequel this is a vast improvement from the first film which was good but had plot holes which thank god this one explains very well , which adds a fuller story this time to what is actually going but dose leave you with a burn question with the ending to find out what happens next.
Shailene Woodley is absolutely fantastic in this sequel showing a more emotional side to her character by showing feeling's that made her character more believable with the thing she had to endure, with Kate Winslet she done a great job with her character but i still cant find her character believable as a ruthless woman sometime the character come across a little wooden in place but she dose well in trying to bring the character forward a bit more.
The film its self has a Depth and complexity feel to it which is how I would describe this sequel, with more intense moment than the first film. Although this story is lot darker than the first film as their are curtain scene that will have you in shock as innocents and antagonists get killed without mercy.
The visual effect showing this to be a sci-fi film is just stunning & perfectly done, showing a more intense, darker but emotional story-line special with the ending where this film has a very powerful moment that brings tears to your eyes.
Not sure if it was the powerful message this was putting across or the powerful emotional music playing as well it just added for a great ending to a brilliant sequel that open's for the third installment with burning answers to what going to happen next. This is a must see if you've seen the first film as this truly is a vast improvement of the first film that answer a plot hole from the original.

Dislikes : Some of the acting is dose come off little wooden at times Shailene Woodley kind of carried this film really there is room for improvement though.

Overall : Fantastic film, great acting although some a little wooden, visual & story perfect, a must see.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.6 out of 10 for concept
