Name-calling (malignant parasite, evil, girlie, miserable, ungrateful and mother of death.)

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:A woman takes a pill from a prescription vial.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Some scary imagery.
The creepy spirits may frighten some young viewers.
There are many pop up scares and some scares where the audience even jumped out of their seats. Watching the movie in the cinema increases the horror level.

Story: The haunted Lambert family seeks to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

Likes : The first thing I can say is the acting was believable showed a believable scenario , the lip syncing at the begin was spot on there no mistakes, it dose start off pretty well for a horror giving the audience a chilling start to set the mood for the rest of the film. Did I find this scary not really, but that doesn't mean it not chilling or scary for other's as it dose have that dark atmosphere that work for this type of horror, there are moments when you get that cold chill down your spine special with some scene's when things happen.
I wasn't really a fan of the first film but it's still an entertaining film to watch, to some this mite scare the hell out of you, its interesting story that takes you in a old haunting story of past life trying to force their way in to the living world by possessing he living. Danielle Bisutti who plays the ghost playing this role with a sinister but some what disturbing abusive mother, the make up used to give her role this look of a ghost is pretty good, but I think the eye's could of looked more evil to give her a more scarier look.
Patrick Wilson & Rose Byrne return to reprise their roles as the parents Josh Lambert & Renai Lambert, they play these role pretty well giving a believable performance, but with Patrick Wilson character Josh Lambert you notice something is off about him he no him self, which your later find out why, but he plays the role pretty with a cold chilling side. Barbara Hershey reprises the role of the grandmother who dose a brilliant performance, Angus Sampson & Leigh Whannell  play paranormal investigators Specs & Tucker but the best way to describe these two is tweedol Dee & tweedol dumb character as they have a goofy way about them it was like watching Scooby doo & shaggy. Ty Simpkins plays a brilliant performance as the older son with a gift to astral travel to the spirit world.
As a horror film goes this is a great horror that entertaining & well as scary for some, you cant really go wrong with this film, it has the psychological element of a paranormal horror with the dark atmosphere which makes for a pretty well written story although a little predictable at time.

Dislikes : The only thing really is that I was a little disappoint that I didn't find this scary really although still entertaining enough to watch.

Overall : psychological horror that doesn't disappoint, has a few moment that my make you hid behind a cushion, worth watching if you've seen & liked the first film.

Rating: 4.2 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.5 out of 10 for storyline/ horror theme
