Sex & Nudity: A body is shown nude on an operating table (nothing explicit visible).
Violence & Gore:An interrogation leads to a graphic finger cutting scene.
Dr. Frankenstein uses a sawing drill apparatus to cut through the skulls of two men. He then proceeds to take out their brains and "operate" on them. During the sawing portion the two men scream (one is seen on camera, through the perspective of a mirror, while the other is shown briefly before the camera cuts away.) This is all seen on camera, making it incredibly disturbing. For many this scene will undoubtedly be hard to watch as it spans the duration of a minute or two.)
A man is stabbed in the stomach with a massive drill by one of the zombots. He is then stabbed in the neck by another man (to kill him and put him out of his misery.) He is seen shortly after with his spinal cord ripped out and strewn across the floor.
A man is stabbed with a saw-like hand through the mouth. The camera focuses on him, as blood falls from his mouth. After the saw is retracted, we very briefly see him spit his tongue out before he falls over dead.
A man is force-fed stewed chunks of bloody meat. This scene is incredibly disturbing as it is done as a form of torture. (Do note the camera is half a room away, but it is still very visible.) He spits and chokes, making very disturbing sounds. He is then seen being force-fed a bowl full of the stew (further choking, spitting, vomiting noises, etc.)
]A zombot rips at his bloodied face, tearing flesh from it. It then stands and proceeds to kill another man by ripping at his throat (off-screen.)
A woman is slapped, punched and then has her head smashed against a desk (no blood and mostly done offscreen.)
A young boy is tossed down what resembes a garbage chute. We can hear him screaming, and moments later a zombot with a massive fanblade replaced as a head crawls up the garbage chute. The boy is very clearly killed, but it is all offscreen and not seen.
A man is dragged by a zombot offscreen. He is seen kicking and screaming as the zombot drags him around a corner and offscreen.
]A man's head is smashed in by a zombot. He is left alive, his metal helmet squished into his skull. Later a woman attempts to remove his helmet, but instead rips the upper portion of his head off (along with what appears to be a gallon of blood). His brains are seen stuck in the helmet, the brainstem still intact.
Bloodied human remains (arms, legs, torsos and heads) are seen in being transported in mining carts.
A man walks into a room with the camera where we see dozens of corpses hanging by hooks from a building's rafters. Not so gory as it is disturbing.
A zombot with no legs is seen dragging itself on the floor.
A zombot is seen with heads attached and dangling from its body. (This is partially offscreen so many may miss it.)
A man, still alive is seen in a minecart. A zombot proceeds to move the minecart with the man in it. He is heard screaming, yelling and sobbing as he and the zombot turn a corner and go offscreen. [spoiler]Not very bloody, just disturbing as up to this point we have seen some rather gruesome zombots and are getting an idea as to what Dr. Frankenstein is doing.
A zombot is shot in the head and we see its head explode.
We see a woman's head in a glass case, her neck stitched and attached to the lower half of a teddy bear. This is quite disturbing as we see her eyes darting around and her breathing.
There is a quick video shot of a drilling apparatus being drilled into a glob of meat (it is merely a random flash.)
A man is seen with two ripped off arms. He is later stabbed in the chest with and injected with a needle.
A man is seen, strapped in a chair, being electrocuted for several seconds, very graphic.
We see a man with what appears to be a metal slab stuck into his head.
Profanity: Over 50 uses of "Fuck"
Around 30 uses of "Shit"
Several uses of "damn" and "asshole"
Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Russian soldiers are seen smoking in several scenes. In one scene we see many Russian soldiers, all very intoxicated.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: The scenes with the zombots are pretty spine chilling. Many are stitched, cut, bleeding, attached with very disturbing and obscure apparatuses and such.
Quite a few jump scares, specifically from the 22:00 minute mark onwards.
The war zone with the villagers and the nun scene may be pretty upsetting to some.
The climax is very intense, bloody and disturbing. Some people may find it too hard to sit through.Despite the low score, do note that the film is a very dark, intense and violent gorefest.There is next to no comical relief, thus making the violence quite realistic.
Story: Toward the end of World War II, Russian soldiers pushing into eastern Germany stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein's work to assemble an army of super-soldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades -- a desperate Hitler's last ghastly ploy to escape defeat
Likes : This film start off as a typical war film, gun fights, raiding German village all the usual stuff until they reach a village that seem like no one is round until things start happen they stumble across what i would describe as a tortured experimental creature that started to kill everyone, then you start seeing more.
This is not so much a look of Mary Shelley Frankenstein it looks more like something out of the game wolfinstein ,those that have played the game will know what i mean by that, as for these things from what i could see have had blades, drill's & metal fussed to them in such weird looking way they look like mechanical creature's.
But seriously dont expect a all out brilliant horror film here as all your getting is a very low-rate B movie with maybe a few good scenes, but seriously do not watch this if you have a weak stomach as this film is seriously bloody & a gore fest that to me is overrated with a weird mixture of Ed Gein meets Willy Wonka in a hell raiser feel.Depending on your taste of film you might like this or you might not but this film as a lot of flaws.
Dislikes : Big flaw in this film is it had no direction what so ever, it was just them running around shooting & shouting at each.The other thing as well is the shaky camera movement as you could hardly see what the hell was going or really see some of the creatures, ya i know this is a low budget film but the camera shaky stuff complete ruin the enjoyment of a film as it makes you iver sea sick or give you a headache watch it, but apart from that some scene were ok.
Overall : Complete gore-fest film , shaky camera, weak plot & story-line that has no direction but you may like it.
Rating: 2.4 out of 5 for entertainment / 4.1 out of 10 for story-line
