Likes : This was such a hard film to watch as this was the last film that Robin Williams did before he pass away 2014 also Mickey Rooney last performance as well, too great actors we lost, it real hard writing the last Robin William film review.
This third installment still hold the magic of the first two film although it dose lack in the adventure concept, that part felt a little lazy, there a few moment that will have you will be laughing your head off special with some of the slap stick humor.
I love the fact they show the origin story at the beginning of the tablet location where you see Dick Van Dyke character as a young boy i think that was fitting for the story for the final film.
The performance were brilliant through out the film special with a cameo of huge jackman that scene was pretty funny with the character of Sir Lancelot played Dan Stevens who pulled of the old knight speaking tone in the voice pretty well, i wasn't over keen with Rebel Wilson i don't really find her funny because she act dumb kinds of slow the comedy flow but she did OK in this film.
Ben Stiller return only his time playing to part it brilliant how they got the two character to be like each other in moment & feelings that was cleverly done, Ben really pull off the emotional concept in this film. Ben KingsleyAnjali Jay performance for cameos really played of each other which shows good acting performances i think these two would have good on screen chemistry in other film.
As this is the last film this a film that is worth watch & a last good by to a legend of comedy that ending on a emotional ending that dose put you n tears as you realise this will be the last film your see the great Robin Williams in he will never been forgotten, i love the fact they dictated this film to Robin Williams & Mickey Rooney. this dose have a lot of slap stick humor so this is worth watching if you love the first two films.

Dislikes : This film could of done without Rebel Wilson sorry she just not funny, the lack of adventure in the concept didn't really give this third installment the send off it could of had but still have the emotional concept as the last film, it was still a great film to watch.

Overall : Great characters, lack the adventure but still has it moments, worth watching.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.9 out of 10 for concept / humor

Film Review: Woman in Black 2 :Angel of Death

Genre: Drama Horror Thriller

Cert: 15 cert

Director: Tom Harper

Screen writer: Jon Croker (screenplay / writer) , Susan Hill  (writer / story)

Starring:  Phoebe Fox , Merryn Pearse , Mary Roscoe , Helen McCrory , Amelia Crouch , Amelia Pidgeon , Casper Allpress , Pip Pearce , Leilah de Meza , Jude Wright , Alfie Simmons , Oaklee Pendergast , Thomas Arnold , Jeremy Irvine , Adrian Rawlins

Running time: 98 min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: It is mentioned that a woman had a child out of wedlock.

Violence & Gore: Several deaths, including the deaths/suicides of children.
Many occasions of shock and horror violence, with nothing exceeding the 15 cert rating

Profanity: Mild name calling
2 religious exclamations

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: A character is seen smoking

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Many "jump scares" throughout entire film
Theme of woman killing children could be disturbing to some
Official rating: 15 cert for some disturbing and frightening images, and for thematic elements.

Story: 40 years after Arthur Kipps' experience at Eel Marsh house, a group of children under the care of two women, escaping from war-torn London, arrive to the house and become the next target for the ghost of Jennette Humfrye, otherwise known as The Woman in Black. With the help of a fellow soldier, the women and children must fend off the spirit of Jennette Humfrye, and end her presence once and for all

Likes : For a sequel of the first film this isn't bad, the story is pretty solid if follow the story well with the haunting from when Daniel Radcliffe who played a character that first dealt with the dark entity, only this time 40 years on Eve Parkins played brilliantly by Phoebe Fox has to confront her to save the children.
I'm glad to see that the director gave the lead female role a timid but strong woman concept instead of a damsel in distress character having to be rescue all the time by some male part, i loved that about this film special for this type of concept in the film having to face a pretty frighten situation which Phoebe Fox play with perfection.
The film itself keep the atmosphere rolling through out the film with a dark psychological feel & atmospheric tone to really put you on edge & put a cold chill down your spine which help in making horror film of this type keeps it real & realistic. With both film's i think the house itself was a brilliant edition to the atmosphere surround by marshlands & bog on a remote island which just give the perfect location for a haunting like this to actual happen along with it score music it really dose add to the frighten tone that most people will find scary with a few jump scene.
The Woman in Black: Angel of Death is a dark, atmospheric movie, that keeps faith with a lot of the qualities made famous during Hammer horror Films in their hay day. The music and sound effects make the hair on the back of your hands stand with it's chilling scenes, Oaklee Pendergast playing the main child role for his age stands out with his performance and reminded me, in some aspects, of the young Damian Thorn from The Omen film's with the quite cold stare of an innocent child. The movie is genuinely spooky, with a few genuine shocks. So if you don't like your movies with a psychological dark tone......i would give this one a wide birth, but for those that do this is one to watch although it not with out its flaws.

Dislikes : I felt like some character you didn't get to know in the movie too well which feel off at time, felt like the movie revolved more around the ghost of Jennette Humfrye then the other character which wasn't a bad thing but i feel like the characters could of been explain a bit more as those that haven't watch the first film could understand what going on if they watch this first.
The other thing which is becoming to much of a think in horror which needs to be stop because it ruin the feel of the film's scare moment with cheap scare tactics with sound effects. Scare jump moments don't need the dramatic sound effect because an unexpected jump moment is what frightens the audience more as they don't see it coming but when you have the ominous music play the audience is expect it it become predictable which sadly these moment in the film are to predictable which is a shame.

Overall : Spine chilling scene, jump scene are predictable but you may still jump, great story follow on, great performances from the actors.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment /  8.6 out of 10 for psychological horror concept

It is up to Blade, Pinhead, Leech Woman and Jester to revive their own secret weapon to stop the Axis Rising!

Likes : As much as the first few film were good back in the day, i know some will say this is a good bad movie but that's their opinion at the end of the day but there is just nothing a can say i loved about this film as it a film franchise that well behind its knock off days.

Dislikes : The first 3 film were good they stay adult, but then the series of film did a chunky trying to turn the franchise in to a comedy horror that just got worst & worst over time to the point these films should have stopped long time ago.
I cant ever praise the acting or the cheesiness of this film because its god awful & not in a good why, you serious have to be iver brain dead or just expect any crap that comes out because this is not a film i can recommend. Its the same old puppets killing, there is not variety with add new puppets to the film its become a film that is repetitive, sadly this franchise died years ago its just become a cash cow film just to make money as there is nothing entertaining about this film i felt bored watching it.

Overall : You have to be a fan to really like this trash, same old puppet, same lame story.

Rating: 2 out of 5 for entertainment  / 3 out of 10 for concept

Running time: 90min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: There's a scene wear a woman is washing herself and you see her naked back. This scene does not long, and is the only nudity.

Violence & Gore: there is a few combat scene but no blood is show. couple of men set on fire

Profanity: mild

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:none

Frightening/Intense Scenes: this is a 12A rating no fighting scene, although not suitable for any younger than 12.

Story:When aspiring knight Gareth goes in search of a fallen comet rumored to contain gold, he is shocked to instead find the dragon Drago. After Drago saves Gareth's life the two become intricately bonded, and must work together to defeat an evil sorcerer and stop his reign of terror. Along the way, Gareth learns the true meaning of being a knight in this fantasy action-adventure for the ages.

Likes : I really don't know what to say about this 3rd installment of dragon heart, im a little disappointment in away that they didn't follow the story line of dragon heart 2 where you see the dragon all grown up to full adult that would have made this a fitting 3rd film, instead they skip a few century's with this one where all the dragon were gone.
Although they have done this it still hold its own charm with some funny moments when the dragon speaks which is from the only well know actor in the film Ben Kingsley voice of drago, the special effect on the dragon don't look cheaply done which was good , sequences and just enough story to keep most viewers entertained through out , comparing to the original Dragon Heart and Draco voiced by Sean Connery will always be the best dragon of all time & the squeal was good as well,
Acting is pretty reasonable concept not to bad but i feel the writers could have done better with this one.

Dislikes : I'm really disappointment in this 3rd film even though it still had its charm & entertaining, i feel the writer's should have followed the story of the second film with Drake as an adult dragon, instead of skipping a few century's i felt that kind of had no continuity in the film which kind of ruined these films as being a true trilogy, i feel the first two films were better it just felt that the writers got lazy with this concept for the 3rd film.
I was slightly disappointment at the fact this was lacking in the epic adventure feel the first two films had to be honest its a shame because these film had alot going for them only to be slightly ruin with a cheaply made 3rd film that could have been done better as this is only a one time view.

Overall : Dragon design is good, acting is good, story is just a little disappointing & mediocre, mer-shadow of the first two films.

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 for entertainment / 5.3 out of 10 for concept.

Film Review: Red Machine: hunt or be hunted (also known as Grizzly)

Genre: Action Horror Thriller  WARNING: This film contain graphic scene of body dismemberment & blood)

Cert: R-rated (18 cert)

Director: David Hackl

Screen writer: Guy Moshe ( screenplay ) J.R. Reher ( Screenplay - Story )

Running time: 120 min

Starring:
James Marsden , Billy Bob Thornton , Piper Perabo , Thomas Jane , Scott Glenn , Adam Beach , Michaela McManus , Patrick Sabongui , Luisa D'Oliveira ,Seth Isaac Johnson ,Reese Alexander ,  Bart the Bear , Kelly Curran , Sean O. Roberts , Sarah Desjardins.

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: a woman take off her top show full frontal nudity, one kissing scene

Violence & Gore: This film contains graphic scene of dismemberment from bears attacks, bear being cut up, wooden stick is seen throw a woman leg blood is shown.

Profanity: very strong language through out

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Drinking was seen in a bar.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: The bear scene are very intense & frighten not suitable for younger viewer, due to the content of this film is not suit for anyone under 18 due to the level of violence's

Story: Two estranged brothers reunite at their childhood home in the Alaskan wild, thing seem to be ok until body's start to show up & the other animal in the area start to leave. In the Investigation the two bother come face to face with a rogue bear out for blood it become a fight for survival they they try to escape area as they are being hunted down by a blood third animal.

Likes : Wow im not sure if this film will be a cinema or dvd realise but this should be a cinema release because it got the concept & tone to really put the audience on the edge of their seats & cowering in fear as this is the Orca of Bear films.
This kept a stead pace through out the film that keeps the intense & suspenseful tone which is brilliantly done , the location scenery and setting are fantastic film in the Alaskan forests, this film dose get very grizzly at time that shock you (no pun intended) which is hard to watch as most scene of dead bear cubs may upset you, but the body dismemberment and so on really give the film this sense of danger around every tree that draws you in to a very intense & frighting film that will bring you to the edge of your seat & throw you back in fear.

Veteran Scott Glenn (back-draft), James Marsden (x-men) , Thomas Jane (punisher) as a hunter character turned conservationist who butts heads with Billy Bob (bad Santa) Thornton's hardened hunter along with Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs) & Michaela McManus (C.S.I ) bring a performance that dosent easy up on the tension & suspense in the film as they are being hunted down, this is some of the best acting ive seen in a film for a while, that brings brilliant cinematography fantastic on scene filming some of the best animal training ive seen as Bart the bear seriously is a star of his own, almost stole the film with a great acting to make himself very suspense, intense & frighten animal in this film was just amazing.
Not sure if Bart the Bear is related to his mother who starred in Grizzly park (1976) but he look well looked after & health which im glad of amazing big bear perfect for this film.
It's very close to the film The Edge from (1997) & Ghost in the Darkness in (1997). What could have been Jaws like movie, is more like Orca - The Killer Whale which very brutal nasty scene & scene that will make you turn away from the screen. This is a film i highly recommend watching if you get the chance outstanding film of fear, suspense & intense moments. Note: No animal were harmed in the making of this film.

Dislikes : My only complaint is that some scene came off on screen a little unreal with the green screen as some scene were clearly seen to be green screen in the back ground of the actors/ actress it just look a little fake in one scene but all the other scene were OK.

Overall : bloody thirst, suspenseful, intense, frightening, outstanding acting.worth watching

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 10 out of 10 for concept

Film Review : The Voices

Genre: Comedy Crime Thriller  WARNING: This film contain some disturb dark twist scene)

Cert: 18 cert (was given a 15 but should be 18 due to content of the film)

Director: Marjane Satrapi

Screen writer: Michael R. Perry

Starring: Ryan Reynolds , Gemma Arterton , Anna Kendrick , Jacki Weaver , Ella Smith , Paul Chahidi , Stanley Townsend , Adi Shankar,  Sam Spruell , Valerie Koch, Gulliver McGrath , Paul Brightwell , Alessa Kordeck , Michael Pink , Ricardia Bramley

Running time: 103 min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & NuditySome comical sexual references, mostly from the cat.

Violence & Gore:Some very disturbing violence. Partly off-screen, partly on-screen. Never-the-less, it's very bloody.

A man chops up pieces of somebody he has killed and puts it in plastic boxes.

Severed heads start talking.

Profanity:  It's near-constant swearing throughout the whole movie. Lots of uses of "fuck", "shit" and other words, the majority of it coming from Jerry's cat.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: drinking at a bar is seen

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Even though this is a comedy, there are many dark and unsettling moments, and the behavior of the character Jerry can frighten some people.

Story: Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) is that chipper guy clocking the nine-to-five at a bathtub factory, with the offbeat charm of anyone who could use a few friends. With the help of his court-appointed psychiatrist, he pursues his office crush (Gemma Arterton). However, the relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn after she stands him up for a date. Guided by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog, Jerry must decide whether to keep striving for normalcy, or indulge in a much more sinister path

Likes : In some twisted sick way this film is pretty funny despite its nature, the actor & actress really play their parts to perfection. And even a bigger surprise in Ryan Reynolds actually pull this creepy mentally ill off & being good at it is why hes character comes of believable!  This is is a movie i just stumbled on that popped up out of nowhere and I had never heard of it nor knew what to expect in the story way i first watch it.
I will say at First this is not a laugh out loud comedy to start with its more like a OMG smile on your face type story to beginning with which you kind of get draw into but then the story starts to become dark & then becomes bizarre as the film progresses which really dose keep you watch.
Most of the film ive seen star Ryan Reyond have been light heart comedy's & one series film safe house, but seeing him play this role was entertaining but also weird that he actually pulled this role off with perfection which was kind of creepy but i think its why he is awesome for dead pool.
Gemma Arterton is just awesome showing a comedic side to her in a sick twist way that was pretty dark if you think about it in this film, same goes to the rest of the actors & actress near perfect performance to bring this film to light.
The story line concept take you in to the mind of a mentally ill person that has multiple personality that hear voices which is where this film take on that slight twist dark sense of humor that you find yourself giggling or laughing out loud at even though you know the concept of the film is twist & dark it one of those film's.
Most of the comical moments come from the voices of the cat & dog which represent as the voice in his character Jerry head which Ryan actual did the voice overs for its become a fictional world to a mixture of reality, were seeing through both reality world & his world on drugs which is funny because out of the two animals the cat is the more sadistic of the two because you find your laughing at every comment the cat makes, this is actually clever because its the angel & devil concept on the shoulder where the dog is the angle & the cat is the devil i loved that, although this film is good it was without its flaws. But this is worth checking out if you haven't watch it yet.

Dislikes : Although this film is near perfect in acting, comedy & the dark twist tone, it felt to short of a film as it was over before it got started, you feel like there should of been more, as this felt like a very short story from a tale from the crypt keeper short.
One thing i real hate is why is it that my name is way being portrayed on screen with some weirdo or psychopath in tv some films, i swear i need to change me name lol, the other things as which is typical my ex's name Fiona played by Gemma come on already.... even though it not me being portrayed on screen kind of make you wonder why my name get portray alot in a bad way. :( not cool.

Overall : Brilliant film although short dark twist comedy that start of light heart turns in to a bizarre twist dark story worth checking out.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8 out of 10 for concept

Genre: Drama

Cert: 15 cert

Director: John Herzfeld

Screen writer: John Herzfeld

Starring: Lauren Cohan , Kyra Sedgwick , Thomas Jane , Kevin Connolly , Tom Sizemore , Nelly , Omari Hardwick , David O'Hara , Kelsey Grammer , Terry Crews , Cary Elwes , Tom Berenger , Sylvester Stallone , Danny Trejo , Danny Aiello

Running time: 95 min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: woman is seen in a skinny teddy bedroom dress, one scene of a woman briefly suggesting sex on a film set

Violence & Gore: Few scene of guys being shot

Profanity: Some strong profanity thrown here & there

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Alcohol is seen being drunk

Frightening/Intense Scenes: No fighting scenes, but some scene could be inappropriate for younger viewers

Story: A motivational book written by a mysterious man quickly gains popularity, inspiring a group of people that includes a journalist, his editor, a former inmate, a hip-hop mogul, an actor and an undercover cop to re-evaluate their choices and decisions by confronting their fears in hopes of creating more positive lives

Likes : "Why would a best selling author go into hiding?" When a motivational book takes the world by storm. An actor, convict, mobster, and a rapper all swear by the book. Everyone is trying to find out just who the mysterious writer really is. Teddy (Berenger), the author has gone into hiding. When young reporter Roger (Astin) finds him he is the one that tries to motivate Teddy to revel himself.
This wasn't what i was expecting but it was ok, its pretty much explains itself as a drama film, it dosent just focus on one point of the film with a plot it focus on different people that have had their life changed by this book as it focus on take life for what is & take that step forward that that courage to move forward despite the fear, which is clever message really in real life, because so many people fear what they don't know or have fear it consumes them they don't take that chances of courage to make something of themselves, which is a sutal message i this film which i liked because in some way its inspiring to take your life & be better.
I would say this is not a film for everyone just depends on weather you like inspirational drama film's, although its slight weak in some place's it not a bad film, but still flawed.

Dislikes : The uk description on the DVD cover of this film is misleading, in curtain ways like with the casting this film has when it says it  high octane & highly entertaining this description is a little over hyping the film plus saying this is a thriller it paints the film as Action thriller but viewing the film its nothing of the sort, as this is a slightly entertaining drama film that it really i was dispointed as it still a ok film, but i was expecting more from this film.

Overall : Great Acting, good inspirational message in the film, weak on plot without story-line.

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 entertainment / 6.2 out of 10 for concept.

Likes : First of all with all the bad review's im aware that people are entitled to there own opinion but come on, these bad reviews make out like this film is a seriously bad & not worth watch, yet viewing this myself these reviews are complete unfair as this film is not as bad as some people are making it to be.
Yes there is a few flaws but what film is perfect, there is no film that has been made that is perfect in every way with a out any flaw or two in it, i believe these bad review are just hating on it because of the matrix film's like everyone hates on terminator because of Michael bay serious people should just give up reviewing film if you have to say is negative reviews pulling the whole film down.
From viewing the film the visual & C.G.I effect are just outstanding to really show a sci-fi world & space crafts, the story-line is a bit weird but not understandable to a point you don't know what is happening or what the story is about, this film pretty much explains this at the beginning which set the tone of how these alien life form live in their social circles.
Alot of review say that Mila Kunis character Jupiter Jones should of been a bit more of a stronger woman type role in this film which i disagree with, because i felt she done a pretty good performance portraying her character. People seem to think that caring about the world, friends & family is weak but it not it show strength in character which i felt her character was portraying a girl that has just found out she has a whole new life & destiny but also finding out what this race of people are doing you cant expect her to just adapt to this situation just like that i thin she done really well with this role.
Channing Tatum playing the hero of the film is probable the first time ive seen him in a role that actual suited him although at time i found he a little reserved in he acting like he not given he full self which is shame because his acting in this film is pretty good for the character he is portraying.
Eddie Redmayne playing the role of the villain in the film
Balem Abrasax who we saw from the trailers of this film,i would agree with some point that his voice or the way he speak could be hard for some people to understand, not to say he didn't do a bad job playing the role, as he performance portrayed his character with mother issue like a pretentious little brat with to much power.
But then most of the other characters in this film are portrayed with this selfishness to out do each other for power like Kalique Abrasax played by Tuppence Middleton & Titus Abrasax played by Douglas Booth, this is the way their society come across in the film which is good because it gave the concept a bit more of a dramatic SCI-fi story mix which i think most people were thinking this would be an all out space battle type film, as most reviews compared this with a star-wars film which it nothing like that at all.
It is a great critic of our own society we are living in, where the whole human life cycle is influencing people to believe that the purpose of their lives is to seek : money, power, eternal youth before you run-out of time and it's too late to do anything about which leads to greed & corruption that is cleverly put in to this film alien society.
As ive said this film is pretty good in way of music score which is absolutely perfect for this film, along with it special effect that brings this film to life, i special love the Reptilian Dino-dragon lizard race i feel these are like soldiers or warrior race, as the look awesome but look mean like if you came up against one it would be a formidable enemy, ya this is heavy influence from star wars, star trek with different looking races & characters with a concept very similar to Brazil society concept, those that have seen Brazil will know what i mean by that.
To be honest this wasn't as bad as people were making it to be but ya there are a few flaws but still worth watching film, i would suggest watching this in 2D because when it comes to Green screen effect ,3D dosent always work it looks bad on screen.

Dislikes : As ive said there is a few flaws, one being the Ariel fight scene shoot up the place in the middle of the city like that way you see in the scene, you would expect military action with the air force with the amount of time they were fighting air to air combat, this was kind of unrealistic really should of been add in to the film really.
A few back ground story's should of been explain more like how the race of society came about & why Jupiter Jones was royalty in the first place other that just being a look alike of the queen before this should of been explained more. Eddie Redmayne although he did do a good performance i wasn't really feeling the bad ass villain that you should be scared off, he just came across a bit wimpy as a villain i feel this role should of been give to a much stronger actor that could pull the dark concept villain in a way that you can feel this guy is someone not to be messed with Eddie just didn't come across like that playing Balem Abrasax .

Overall : Brilliant visual & special effect, Great story-line, great acting but not perfect.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.9 out of 10 for concept

Film Review: Paddington

Genre: Comedy  Family

Cert: PG cert

Director: Paul King

Screen writer: Paul King (written by) Hamish McColl  (screen story) and Paul King   ... (screen story) Michael Bond (character "Paddington Bear")

Starring: Tim Downie , Madeleine Worrall , Lottie Steer , Geoffrey Palmer , Theresa Watson , Imelda Staunton , Michael Gambon , Ben Whishaw , Hugh Bonneville , Sally Hawkins , Madeleine Harris , Samuel Joslin , Michael Bond , Matt Lucas , Julie Walters , Jude Wright , Kayvan Novak , Nicole Kidman , Peter Capaldi , Eddie Nestor , Iain Mitchell , Jim Broadbent

Running time: 95 min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: There is scene of flirtation involving Mr Brown (the father) who cross-dresses as a cleaning lady and the safety guard.

A man and a woman kiss

In many scenes a man questionably stares at a woman

A woman wears revealing clothes

Violence & Gore: The "glamorous" villain is a taxidermist played by Nicole Kidman. She can be very scary for young children (Nicole Kidman said her young children wouldn't be seeing the film because it's too scary!). She uses her seduction (tight dresses and close-ups of her high heels ) to achieve her own ends. She is cold-blooded; she does not show any emotion. She is sadistic and cruel.

Nicole Kidman's character is a taxidermist, who wants to stuff Paddington and put him in a museum. At one stage she takes delivery of a cute little monkey in a glass case and she is about to kill the animal when she is disturbed. She spends a lot of time chasing Paddington and shooting with a gun, which actually fires tranquilliser darts but young kids might not realise that.

Although there is no gore and nothing is shown, Paddington's uncle is stuck out in an earthquake and it is implied he is killed.

Profanity: A man calls a man (dressed as a woman) "Sexy"

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Mrs. Bird (The Browns' housekeeper) helps the family enter the Natural History Museum by talking the guard into drinking with her one bottle of whisky (followed by a second one). Drinking games are shown, and the guard is encouraged by Mrs. Bird to address the challenge. Of course he loses and is left unconscious ...we are then shown Mrs. Bird on the roof having trouble walking and standing still, implying that she is drunk.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Official Rating: PG for mild action and rude humor. some scene maybe frighting for younger views so viewer discretion is advised.

Story: A young Peruvian bear with a passion for all things British travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family, who read the label around his neck ('Please look after this bear. Thank you.') and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

Likes : A wonderful adaptation drawn from the characters immortalised in the books, this film is a major success. Heart-warming and humorous without being mawkish or over-sentimental, the antics and escapades of lovable Paddington Bear will surely delight fans of all ages.
Paul King has directed a film that is genuinely as magical as the books upon which it was based, that air as a series on TV for kids even in this film it manage to hold it magic & funny sense of humor that makes this one of the best film around that will have you in tears laughing you head off at.
This is the type of film that have the slap stick cartoonist on the spot comedy that will just have you laugh so hard you will have to be carefully not to fall off the sofa.
The Animation in this film just near perfect with the C.G.I it not over the top & with a perfect balance of location filming with added C.G.I of London's city. Ben Whishaw  playing Paddington going the voice over just made the character adorable & funny special with the antic of getting in to trouble with curtain things which made this really funny.just an all round stellar casting special with Nicole Kidman playing the villain of the film & a cameo from (doctor who star) Peter Capaldi .
you looking for a great family entertainment film you really cant get better than this film, just outstanding from a animated series to a feature film the transaction is just perfecting done to not be over the top.

Dislikes : i think this film should of been a little big longer, i felt this film was a little short but still a great film just need to be a little extra longer

Overall : Funny as hell moment, Great voice acting, brilliant animation, wonderful magic film great for the family.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 10 out of 10 for concept / character of paddington.

Story: Nick Wild (Jason Statham) is a Las Vegas bodyguard with lethal professional skills and a personal gambling problem. When a friend is beaten by a sadistic thug, Nick strikes back, only to find out the thug is the son of a powerful mob boss. Suddenly Nick is plunged into the criminal underworld, chased by enforcers and wanted by the mob. Having raised the stakes, Nick has one last play to change his fortunes...and this time, it's all or nothing. From two-time Academy® Award-winning writer William Goldman (Best Original Screenplay, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, 1969; Best Adapted Screenplay, All the President's Men, 1976).

Likes : Statham plays a compulsive gambler who earns his living in Las Vegas by providing his unique services to people who need help everything is fine until a friend  gets beat up by what looks to be a mafia boss's son, he sets out to act as a go-between in order to seek compensation thing get a little Complicated bring trouble along with it.
As Jason film go this is a bit underrated it not that bad to be-honest, the action scene special with the fight choreography which is pretty well done, the story isn't to bad but was expecting a bit more of an action film really but this is more of a drama thriller type film really than a action film, as you see Jason character struggle with Gambling addictions & drinking. Sofía Vergara only a brief cameo role look hot as always very classy woman.
That is not to say it doesn't deliver. Without saying much, the film draws you into this world easily and convincingly. The acting is very strong and the characters pretty appealing. The writing is sharp. Cinematographer Shelly Johnson gives the film a distinctive look and the editing is excellent. The score is composed by the ultra-talented Dario Marianelli. And then there's the action. While there are only but a few of them, the action scenes, handled by Hong Kong legend and frequent Statham collaborator Cor(e)y Yuen, are incredible, exhilarating and eminently memorable. Even more to the film's credit, each one is very different, both through their visual and musical presentations. If you a Jason statham fan this film a film to watch.

Dislikes : I was expecting a bit more in the story line it was kind of over before it start a little to easy, i think there could of been a bit more of action concept in this film than it had, it would have given this film a bit more enjoyment.

Overall : Great fights scene, not bad story, just couldn't be better

Rating: 4.6 out of 5 for entertainment / 6.8 out of 10 for concept
