Running time97 min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: None.
Two teens flirt with each other at the beginning.

Violence & GoreThere is strong horror throughout as a teenage girl is haunted by a malevolent spirit. There are several jump moments as the demon appears behind curtains, pulls a girl from her bed, makes her walk on her broken legs and puts an eyeball deep in her throat. Other moments of horror include a ghost trying to strangle a woman, a demon trying to pull a woman out of a window and an eyeless figure crawling across a floor.

There are also verbal references to people killing themselves and sight of a body lying on the ground after a person has jumped from a window.

There is a car accident as a young woman is knocked down and some sight of blood on her face as she is treated in hospital.

A very disturbing looking ghost with an oxygen mask has the mask ripped off of his face, leaving a gaping hole in his face. Fairly disturbing and violent.

A possessed girl with broken legs smashes her legs against a bed until the casts fall off, then walks on her broken legs, with lots of cracking sounds. Fairly gross.

A ghost offers a woman a large scalpel, telling her to kill herself so they can be together. It turns out that it is not her husband, and she uses the weapon to attack the ghost.

A possessed girl uses a wrench to hit several peoples legs, causing them to fall to the ground.

A possessed girl almost slices her throat with a box cutter, but is stopped at the last second.

Profanity:  One use of "f--k", and some of "shit" and one of "asshole." One use of "bitch", in a somewhat comedic manor. One middle finger gesture is shown very briefly

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: None.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Rating: 15 for violence, terror including frightening images and some language.
Lots of scenes that build suspense followed by a very loud jump scare, usually accompanied by an extremely disturbing image. This happens numerous times throughout the movie.
A girl crawls around with stumps for arms and legs and no face (not bloody, but highly disturbing).
Surprisingly dark and disturbing, MUCH more so than the previous entries.

Story: After trying to connect with her dead mother, teenager Quinn Brenner, ask physic Elise Rainier to help her, she refuses due to negotiate events in her childhood. Quinn starts noticing paranormal events happen in her house. After a vicious attack from a demon her father goes back and begs Elise Rainier to use her abilities to contact the other side in hope to stop these attacks by this furious demon content for a body.

Likes : I'm not going to beat around the bush & say this film was brilliant, scary & intense because it was far from it, what i will say is that it was entertaining at least . Set between the first & second film which really this should of been a sequel instead of a 3rd film really show the story before (Spoiler Alert) Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) died in the second film.
Elise is once again throw in to the paranormal world that she been trying to void for years to help a young girl Quinn Brenner (Stefanie Scott) that has become a target for possession from a very old nasty demonic spirit who whats to return to the living world . The film dose try to hold some sort of atmosphere which dose add to the tone of the film along with the acting which is pretty good as well to keep the film flowing at a stead pace so it not a boring film which is a plus.
The spirit world is the same as the other films so there isn't anything new here to see other than it in a different place the demon make up is pretty good keep with the ghostly concept, its actual the director & writer Leigh Whannell of the film that plays the demon , He's got pretty good acting skill's to play a creepy demonic spirit so good job there with that role.
The film dose have the odd moment where it dose get a little disturbing special curtain scene with (Stefanie Scott) some of them can be a little vicious, but has for the horror side in scary moments the predictability of the film ruins this which is a shame.

Dislikes : It the case of once you seen one you seen them all there isn't anything new apart from the characters its become a predictable film which is shame really.I feel this film could have been alot better than what was given.
It feels like a film that is to safe like sticking to what the other films offered instead of pushing this film further to be seriously frightening it really dose lack in the scary factor because this film failed to frighten me or make me jump so it really a average horror film that not bad but fails in horror.
Some may find this film frightening but sadly for me this just wasn't frightening at all.
The other reason as well this should of been insidious 2 & not a 3rd film since the story-line is between the first & second film.

Overall : Great entertainment but fails in horror it dose have its moments but overall pretty average horror.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 for entertainment / 6.1 out of 10 for concept.

Film Review: Jurassic World

Cert: 12A

Screen writer: Rick Jaffa (screenplay) & Amanda Silver (screenplay) and Colin Trevorrow (screenplay) & Derek Connolly (screenplay) Rick Jaffa (story) & Amanda Silver(story) Michael Crichton (characters)

Running time124 min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: None

Violence & Gore: Several scenes of sustained tension, peril, terror, and jump-worthy action when it seems like even kids will be killed. Dozens of people die (including major supporting characters); they're eaten or ripped to shreds (sometimes in graphic ways), trampled, or burned in explosions. Everyone is injured, some severely and others in minor ways. Bloody fights between the dinosaurs, who slash, hunt, and eat one another.

Profanity: A moderate use of "shit", 3 uses each of hell, damn and son of a bitch. 1 use of bastard.

Alcohol/Drugs/SmokingNone.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  The dinosaurs may scare some kids, as will a good handful of kill scenes. There are a few scene that may not be suited for anyone under 15.

Story: 22 years after the original Jurassic Park failed the new park (also know as Jurassic World) is open for business. After years of studying genetics the scientists on the park geneticly engineer a new breed of dinosaur. When everything goes horribly wrong, will our heroes make it off the island?

Likes : GET READY TO RUN THE INDOMIOUS REX IS COMING !!!!! as Jurassic world hit our cinemas there is alot of good reviews but as usual some people just don't like anything & put the film down. Don't get me wrong everyone is entitled to their own opinion but putting a film down for the sake of putting down for silly things coming on that not a review.
In all fairness some have said its predictable ??????............Really !!!!! you were expecting more to a franchise that has had 3 film's already, its bound to be predictable, you cant make a Jurassic park fresh with out it being predictable because the very concept of the film is predictable (dinosaurs, park full of people) come on this is a bad combination for a disaster waiting to happen , you cant get more predictable than that , which in my mind Jurassic park can get away with through its entertainment value alone.
The one good thing this film dose is add's a few surprise's here & there so it not all predictable & with the film being portrayed 22 years after the first park i do love the way they added the nod's to the original film's location in curtain scenes which pay homage to its first film back in 1993.
What is clever with this film which ive noticed not lot of people don't understand is the scene with the raptors, now some people seem to think animal are stupid & not intelligent enough to understand humans, this is the wrong thinking.
The reason why Chris Pratt character Owen is able to control these raptors which is explained very well in the film which gave it a more believable concept, is that the raptors from a very young age Owen was able to imprinted himself as a alpha of the pack.
what this dose is establishes a family bond with them (same thing happens with dogs) although the raptor are still dangerous & wild, its like he says its not about control its about being one of them.
This is why in some scene their is a kind of communication going on being the raptors & Owen because of the imprinting, so this is not a far fetch thing that been thrown in to this film.
Bryce Dallas Howard playing a similar role to john Hammond in a way all business not thinking about the consequences of making something more dangerous & uncontrollable, but her performance in this film she dose come across as the cold heart bitch type business first & not a family person.
Like the other Jurassic park film the C.G.I is just outstanding with the cinematography & the Dinosaurs themselves.
Specially the effects of the indominous Rex with its curtain scene, what was awesome was the way which is show in the trailers where they mentioned she claw the tracker out, what you don't notice until she actual moves is they used the cuttlefish effects which made this curtain scene awesome which is actual real marine biology which i loved about this film.
There are moments in the film where is get a little slow but not slow enough for you to get board as there is always something going on, it start off pretty well it doesn't just throw you in the the mess straight away, although you do notice odd things if your looking out for them for thing to start happening, i love the concept of the petting zoo for the younger kids that was a nice touch for the film to give it a family feel film, where kids can ride or pet the smaller planet eating dinosaurs.
The park design is what john Hammond wanted it to be like, an open safari park where the dinosaur can roam free where people can safely travel across in sphere travels which i through was a brilliant concept for people to see the dinosaurs in there own environments.
Everything in this film seriously screamed Jurassic park, ya there are a few missed opportunity that could of push this film a little further but for that i think it would of been reaching for the R-rated concept.
Being with a lot of people in the park i think there could of been a bit more carnage but there are still moments in this film that really dose push this over the 13 cert concept as this film is more like a 15 cert film because there are scene that arnt suitable for children to see, like most of the Jurassic park film this is not without its emotional moments as there is one heart hearting scene that even had me in tears, as seen most things suffer is heart breaking which adds a bit emotion to a pretty dark film.
This by far is the best Jurassic park film done right we've had i hope this film gets a squeal because this film deserve it.

Dislikes : There is a moment in this film (spoiler alert) Where Claire is running in high heels being chased by a Rex........ ive know from other woman that have said this its impossible to run in high-heels so how she got away with this scene i don't know but that was a little silly to put in for her character.
The other things really it felt a little short on the carnage being that there was 2000 people in the park this film could of been given a high certification so the film could of got more carnage but still petty of scene in the film that will satisfy even the best of Dino fans.

Overall : Intense, Roller-coaster ride, indominous Rex is awesome, best Jurassic park film to date.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 9.3 out of 10 for concept.

Likes : Get ready for an earth shattering, ground shaking epic movie that will push your emotion to the very limits, move over 2012 & day after tomorrow this is the superior disaster film this year we've been wait for. This is no mer unrealistic fantasy film this is a true realistic concept as it come's & may one day soon happen this way, when it dose i truly give my heart felt sorry for you guy that live in the area of San Andreas because if this is what will happen if the big one comes i prey for you all over their.
I knew going in to this film it would be frightening, but i never expected it to actual get me emotionally attached to the film, it put me on the edge of my seat with intense emotions that not only frighten me but put me in tears with watch all these people suffer, yes i know it just a film but this film felt so realistic it was unreal.
Dwayne johnson is just unbelievable in a way to bring not only a humble man doing his job to save people but as a family man who lost a daughter & trying to coupe with it, he performance seriously had me in tears with the scene he talks about is daughter you can really feel the emotion in his voice making the character more believable which give an outstanding performance in this film, i know alot of people don't seem to like the rock but this film really make him shine as an actor.
Carla Gugino performance in this film is brilliant as well, flawless performance, i will admit at the begin of the film i really hated her character because i though she was a bit of a bitch doing what she did to Ray (Dwayne) for any father to go though that it hurts emotionally, but you come to warm up to her character as the film progress's which is a good thing.
Incredibly beautiful Alexandra Daddario brilliant performance portraying Ray daughter, it really show like father like daughter in the rescue, she was so like her father through out the film which made her character more believable as his daughter.
Ioan Gruffudd performance was brilliant as well, but i seriously hated his character, he playing one of the rich ass wholes that only cares about his business, but what he did in-front of ray was just out of order its was like have something shoved in your face that would upset any father, although his scene are brief in the film i wont give away spoilers but it was pretty nasty.
Paul Giamatti character in this film has got a few bad comments from critic saying he felt out of place in this film but to be honest im going to disagree with them on that because i think the scene he was in portrayed alot of emotion special the dam scene you could see in his face the total shock in his face which sold the scene perfect made it a truly heart wrenching tear moment that real set the tone for the rest of the film.
The film its self is just awesome in C.G.I cinematography as you see building falling apart, streets rip apart as the land shifts everything that involved show a truly realistic disaster film with no stupid ark building or unrealistic moments, this truly show a real situation which i think Brad Peyton has capture perfect in a 9.6 earthquake.
I know alot of people will say the tidal wave would never happen in this situation but you would actual be wrong because what happens on land happens out at sea as well because its all connected, although some of the earthquake in history facts in the film weren't actual correct but i feel that was to dramatize the film a bit more.
This is truly a film to go check out in the cinema, truly frightening, intense, emotional roller-coaster ride that will leave you in shock walking out of the cinema, also with a brief cameo from Kylie Minogue.

Dislikes : The facts in the film about the 9.1 earthquake in 1936 was actual The 1936 Miyagi earthquake occurred on November 3 at 05:45 local time with a magnitude Ms 7.2, or  7.4.The epicenter was located off the Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Four people were injured. Building damage was reported. In Isobe village, nowadays part of Sōma, Fukushima, a small market building collapsed.A tsunami was recorded.
The highest recorded earthquake in history was in 1901 8.8 which leveled the city in San Francisco, so it is possible that a 9.6 can happen sometime in the future as some earthquake have gotten stronger over the past years the last one was 6.6. there getting bigger.

Overall : Intense, Frightening, Emotional roller-coaster, flawless performances.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 10 out of 10 for superior disaster film.
