Story: After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Likes : What ever they did with this film made this better than the first film, this was comical genius, Some scene's will seriously have you on the floor laughing you head, special with one scene with Jonah hill & Ice cude in the office had me in stitch laughing my head off watching Channing Tatum character running around tell everyone what he just realise to everyone seeing ice cude character just stood there with a straight angry face was priceless you could get better comedy than that.
The original movie, 21 Jump Street, was a surprise hit back in 2012. It was a movie filled with many belly aching moments of laughter. For that reason, of all the comedies of 2014 this sequel may be the most anticipated, at least it was for me. So the question is: does it deliver on the high expectations? And the answer is: oh hell yes it does because this was seriously funny, Ice cube was just funny in his own right when he loss it, it just made me laugh harder i had tears in my eyes from laughing.
One thing ive noticed about this film is the fact Jonah hill & Channing Tatum are good together they play off each other so well it show on screen with such a funny comedy duo, as before they are sent in to collage to fun drug dealer its just total mayhem with some classic one liners that pays homage to lethal weapon, with some extremely funny moments you will be crying with laughter,This is must to see because this live up to every hype if you seriously cant find this funny in some way there is some thing wrong because this is without a doubt comical genius special with the end credits.

Dislikes : There was one scene at the being which didn't make sense in the gun fight but the rest of the rest was brilliant.

Overall : Extremely funny, great acting, comical genius.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 10 out of 10 for comical moments.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: This is 80s style effects so i wouldn't really say this was frighting or has any intense feel to it.  

Story: After an atomic war Phillip Hammer and Marlowe Chandler have spent 15 years on their own in an bunker, stuffed with junk from the 40s and old detective novels. Now, 19 years old, they leave their shelter to find a world full of mutants, freaks and cannibals. They become famous detectives in the struggle for the two keys that could fire the last nuclear weapon.

Likes : Well first of all this film just scream 80s special with the music by Michael McCarthy & music performed by Sue Saad who played a singing cameo in the film as well. The story is the standard hard boiled detective yarn with two brothers that survived a nuclear Apocalypse in a bunker trying to play several sides against each other and discovering the danger of putting their trust in the wrong person.
 These two character just come across as tweedle Dee & tweedle dum blues brothers concept in a world that like mad max beyond the thunder dome concept which the way i could describe is cheesy bad tongue in cheek concept, but its kind of a good cheesy bad, like its so bad its good. Some people might consider this a classic from the 80s, which is the typical cheesy 80s movies that John Stockwell and Michael Dudikoff didn't do a bad job at acting in.
You can tell straight away that this film has 80s written all over it with the rot-faced hippie cannibals, red-haired hog-riding biker chicks, belligerent greasers, foul-mouthed white-suited disco mutant kids, decadent punks, and gigantic carnivorous sewer rats yes i said giant rat in the sewers that why this film was cheesy which also has that Raymond Chandler and Humphrey Bogart feel to it in some scene.In all honesty this is a film if your grow up watching you love or a film your ive love or hate depend on if you still into the 80s film, this is a film that not going to be for everyone.


Dislikes : Im not normally one for the cheesy film, because normally they are seriously bad, this is seriously cheesy i had to laugh at it but its wasn't a great film but its was watchable, but it was a little stupid

Overall : Tongue in cheek 80s concept, mad max feel, great acting.

Story: After the disappearance of a young scientist on a business trip, his son and wife struggle to cope, only to make a bizarre discovery years later - one that may bring him home.


Likes : The story in "I'll Follow You Down" deals with a lot of science material & theory's of worm holes & time travel like quantum mechanic, dark matter that could be possible through our own earth changing fields as well as ties the emotional side of character study which isn't to complicated to follow.
Maybe to argue the laws of physics and such one would need to bone up on wormhole theories, quantum physics & mechanics but most people will be drawn in by the character drama that unfolds in the film as you see (star of x-files) Gillian Anderson character struggling to come to term with the sudden disappearance of her husband played by (star of Dark city) Rufus Sewell which was a pretty believable performance.
 The cast is top notch and give moving performances with no overdrawn grandiosity, just straight forward compassionate well developed characters that really make the story enjoyable.
The sci-fi or scientific theory aspect of "I'll Follow You Down" is well written, although the time line theory might go over some people head's but to be honest time travel theory is a hard thing to explain so it does pretty well to explain thing in this film.
(Star of sixth sense) Haley Joel Osment who plays the son of Rufus Sewell character does a dam good performance as you see him head down his father path but realize their is something wrong as his own life swirls out of control, he realise in order to correct time he must stop he father to repair the time line, but its bring problems for his girl friend played by Susanna Fournier who does a brilliant performance as a woman on the verge of seen her relationship break down it become a very dark emotional time for her.
As most time travel film go this one isn't to bad for a film, i think Haley Joel Osment now in adult could be the next A list star. Even tho i though this film was a great film, this might not be for everyone.

Dislikes : The pace of the is very slow, i think it could of been a little faster than what it was.

Overall : Sc-fi film with intelligence, great acting with emotional scenes & dark moments.

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 for entertainment / 6.9 out of 10 for story/Sc-Fi concept.

Violence & Gore: Two men fake-fight in a wrestling match, when one is on the floor, he takes a small razor and cuts is forehead to make it look like the other man injured him.
In one match, a man staples his nipples with a staple gun, then staples a note to his forehead.He then staples his opponent three times. He then is hit with a plastic leg and with a dustbin. One man is then smashed through glass and thrown through a table wrapped in barbed wire. A man is thrown into barbed wire and briefly gets stuck in it. A decent amount of blood is seen splattered in the ring. Also, a fork is stabbed into a mans chest. This is the only really violent scene and is the reason that got this section a 7/10
A woman throws objects at her father, one hits him in the head.
A man purposely rams his hand into a ham slicer and blood squirts everywhere and is seen dripping down his face.
A third wrestling match, no blood in this one.

Story: This is a drama about an aging professional wrestler, decades past his prime, who now barely gets by working small wrestling shows in VFW halls and as a part-time grocery store employee. As he faces health problems that may end his wrestling career for good he attempts to come to terms with his life outside the ring: by working full time at the grocery store, trying to reconcile with the daughter he abandoned in childhood and forming a closer bond with a stripper he has romantic feelings for. He struggles with his new life and an offer of a high-profile rematch with his 1980s arch-nemesis, The Ayatollah, which may be his ticket back to stardom

Likes : The Wrestler is a drama centered around an aging professional wrestler past his prime, your think this is the type of film that just going to be based just around wresting  It's so much more than that. You don't really have to be a fan of wrestling to enjoy this film.
This is a story based around Mickey Rourke Character who has made so many mistake in life they are catching up with him, he become a middle aged man who doesn't have much going for him other than the life of wrestling, but you can see that he needs wrestling more than wrestling more than wrestling need him because he need to feel important like someone need him.
This the type of character you can feel for as he lost his wife, never got married again, he daughter doesn't want anything to do with him, because his never been in her life growing up & life is just passing him by, you can really see the struggle in him, Mickey Rourke pulls this off brilliant in the film for a convincing character.
What kinds of give this film balance is the other character that seem to have the same life as Mickey Rourkes character only as a stripper in a night club played by Marisa Tomei, who seems to be in a similar situation as he is. The middle aged stripper who seems to have a real connection with "The Ram" is shown in another misunderstood profession. We all may not be as different as we may think. Health problems compromise his wrestling career as he tries to deal with the real world and rebuild his relationship with his abandoned daughter.
 This scenes with Evan Rachel Wood (his daughter) is very touching & heart breaking at the same time as you can feel her angry & disappointment in her father for not being there for her in life as she grown up.This might not be a film for everyone but its worth watch to see the transformation of Mickey Rourke play this role with brilliance.

Dislikes : The only real complaint is the way it ends, it leaves you wondering weather with the situation at the end weather he had made it or not because after the final scene it just cuts to black then the music start with the credit roles.

Overall : Heart-warming mellow-drama, great acting, not a bad film

Story: Rusty Nail is back on the road again looking to punish injustice at every turn - and this time it's with a group of hotheaded street racers on their way to the Road Rally 1000. As they drive through a desolate shortcut on the way to the race, an encounter with Rusty turns sour and soon he is tracking, teasing and torturing them until the end of the road.


Likes : This is by far the best Joy ride film yet if you look the brutal gory scene of death because this one holds no punches.Trucker serial-killer Rusty Nail continues his reign of terror in the third instalment of the Joy Ride franchise. In Joy Ride 3, Rusty Nail (played this time around by stuntman/actor Ken Kirzinger) is innocently driving along in his rig when he’s almost run off the road by a group of street racers taking a shortcut to their next race. The trucker then hunts them down, making sure they regret ever crossing him as hes always done in the other two films so there is nothing new here other than some one has pissed him off for a different reason.
The first Joy Ride–directed by John Dahl back in 2001–was a financial and critical success, with the poor straight-to-video Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead coming out in 2008. Joy Ride 3 is a vast improvement and a bit closer to the first film, with an interesting story, slick production and some brutal deaths being scene throw out by Rusty as he doesn't hold back on giving he psychopathic justice.
 Ken Kirzinger played the Rusty Nail character with a pretty much menacing way not as much as the first actor that played rusty in the first film but does a pretty good job, and with us not really seeing his face for most of the film, it was quite effective.
 I will say Some of Rusty’s killing technique was quite original and inventive that was mostly achieved using items from his truck. I’ve never seen snow-chains being used like that before, and we were also treated to watching Rusty remove someone’s face with his fan-motor which I’m sure will keep gore-hounds happy because that is seriously blood thirst as well as a few other scene that would probable make you throw up.
The acting was pretty solid  for a low-budget movie, the production was where this film shone with some great special effects with the blood & gore. If you can overlook the many things that don’t make a whole lot of sense then you’ll certainly enjoy Joy Ride 3.

Dislikes : Another predictable end again, which i was expecting this to be a trilogy that ends on a trilogy but no, just like wolf creek ends really so nothing surprising there.

Overall : Brutal death scene, alot of bloody gore, great acting

Story: While driving to Las Vegas for the bachelor party of her sister Melissa and her fiancé Bobby, Kayla stops the car in the gas station to meet her date, Nik, a guy she met on the internet. Nik convinces her to take a secondary road under the protest of Bobby but the car breaks down. They find a house in the middle of nowhere and decide to take the car parked in the house's garage to the next city, and return with a rented car to pay for the damages provoked by Nik; Melissa leaves her cell number. However, they discover that the owner of the place is the sadistic truck driver Rusty Nail and they have to pay a high price for what they did.

Likes : The isn't bad for a sequel , if i was to say which one was better its kind of hard because both the first film & the second had the quality, like the first film was more intense where this one has more of the blood scene. Only this time this story is on 4 teenage on a road trip to Vegas when there car breaks unknown to them they break into a house that looks abandon that put them all in the cross hairs of Rusty Nail's a psychopathic truck driver.
 Nicki Aycox does bring a certain edge to this film as your thinking that she going to be the damsel in distress character but its surprise that she turns out to be a bit psycho offers a even match to rusty nails character, were as the other three come across as the Victim's character.
it definitely had its flaws: the script had some faulty logics of its own and it was sometimes cliché and predictable (btw, did anyone actually believe the ice truck driver at the gas station was Rusty Nail at the end of the first film.This might not be for everyone but still worth watching the once.


Dislikes : the trouble with the concepts of this film is the fact its predictable & falls in to the trap of being the same old story as the first film, this is why these film tend to not do so well with sequels being made, i think this should of been a one off film to be honest instead of 3 film's.

Overall : predictable, more gore than the first one & less intense, great acting, surprising twist

Frightening/Intense Scenes: The whole movie is very intense, and has a lot of terrifying moments.
There is some disturbing violence; most of it is implied, but the after-math of a little bit of it is shown.
There is some violence which is intense but mostly non-brutal, with little sights of blood and gore. 

Story: College student Lewis decides to drive across the country to see Venna, a friend who doesn't know that Lewis is interested in her romantically. Unfortunately for his plans, Lewis gets saddled with his raucous-spirited older brother, Fuller, whose on-the-road pranks get the brothers and Venna sucked into a nightmare when a psychotic truckdriver takes offense.


Likes : "Joy Ride" is an extremely entertaining road-set horror/thriller that was surprisingly quite good. The film is about Lewis (Paul Walker), a college coed who decides to buy himself a car and take off across the desert to pick up a would-be-girlfriend, Venna (Leelee Sobieski) in Colorado for a road trip together. He then learns that his older troubled brother, Fuller (Steve Zahn) has been arrested in Salt Lake City, so he picks him up on the way. After having a CB radio installed into the car, the two take off to pick up Venna, but end up pulling a prank on an anonymous trucker who goes by the name of "Rusty Nail" (excellently voiced by Ted Levine) on the CB radio.
This is where this film takes on a deadly serious tone, as a prank backfires on them as they are dealing with a physio path truck that looks for more than just a apology, it starts getting nasty.Though out most of this film it has the concept of hitchhiker with a psychopath & dual feel with a truck to the film. Paul walker, Leelee sobieski & steve zahn done a pretty convincing  performance, as well as Ted Levine with the menacing voice over the radio, what is clever is they don't show what he looks like until the very end which adds the intense dark mood the film take as it kicks off.

Overall, "Joy Ride" is a superior action-filled horror/thriller that came as a big surprise to me. It was intelligent, tense, scary, and very well-written, which was nice because of my semi-low (no pun intended) expectations going into it. People who enjoyed "The Hitcher" will more than likely also enjoy this road trip from hell. Very well done and worth seeing for both horror and thriller fans alike.

Dislikes : My only complaint with this film is there could of been a bit more bloody scenes for the nature of the film, but as it was it not to bad.

Overall : intense roller-coaster ride of terror, great performances, not bad a horror thriller.
