Sex & Nudity: The protagonist is a widower. His father-in-law suggests he should woo a local teacher and do his part to repopulate the Earth. "Start pulling your weight," he jokes.

Violence & Gore: Astronauts fight, one pushing another off a cliff, and the two wrestle in their space suits. One cracks the visor of the other's helmet, hoping to murder him. For quite a long period of time, the astronaut with the cracked visor writhes around suffocating (he is eventually unhurt).

Two characters die in explosions, but no violence on screen.

One is killed after being thrashed around by a giant wave of water. His lifeless body is seen floating on the surface of the water, inside an astronaut suit.

Humans and human-sounding robots sacrifice their lives for what they see as a "greater good".

We hear something of the disaster that befell Earth and know it must've resulted in catastrophic death. Someone dies in a hospital room. Others, including a child, die offscreen. Story:In the near future Earth has been devastated by drought and famine, causing a scarcity in food and extreme changes in climate. When humanity is facing extinction, a mysterious rip in the space-time continuum is discovered, giving mankind the opportunity to widen their lifespan. A group of explorers must travel beyond our solar system in search of a planet that can sustain life. The crew of the Endurance are required to think bigger and go further than any human in history as they embark on an interstellar voyage, into the unknown. Coop, the pilot of the Endurance, must decide between seeing his children again and the future of the human race

Likes : Two word's ( MASTER PIECE ) A film that similar to the Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) and Robert Zemeckis' Contact (1997). In a sense that this is not a bang-bang-shoot-shoot-blow-em-up sci-fi, but more of a mind blowing slow-burning, metaphysical sci-fi which gets you to think about your place in the universe and your exact place in time with real science about space time of relativity with fiction of other worlds & worm holes.
 Interstellar takes you on a journey about the earth dying, its soil no longer able to sustain crops other than corn, and of course, it will lead to the extinction of humanity. Our hero is an ex-NASA test pilot named Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a typical ordinary-guy-in-an-extraordinary- situation every man who's also a dedicated family man, especially toward his daughter Murphy (named after the Murphy's Law played brilliantly by Mackenzie Foy, Ellen Burstyn & Jessica Chastain ).
 In an all-too-Armageddon style our hero gets invited by the (publicly) defunct NASA to become humanity's last hope in finding a new home, for they have found a wormhole near Saturn which take the theory of worm holes & shown in it the most spectacular way possible with awesome special effect which will warp the astronauts to another galaxy in quest of a habitable planet with the brilliant performance from the crew David Gyasi playing Romilly , Anne Hathaway playing Brand, Wes Bentley playing Doyle & a robot with a great sense of humour named TARS voice by Bill Irwin.
Solid and compact premise on the concept, although it's been used before, this is one of the best Sci-fi film to date be made.
The is a very intelligent sci-fi film that thought provoking & make you think is it possible to actual travel through worm hole to other universe, this is a theory that has been long thought about through science across the world, the use of what time & space could be truly shown that in time anything can be possible.
The clever part of this film is that it dosent look fake, with the space scene there is nothing but silence which add the realism of space as nothing can be hear as sound cant travel this is what is also brilliant about this, the casting , acting the use of relativity of time being different on earth & the gravity pull of time with black holes is spot on as time is slow down even further is brilliant shown in this film. This truly is a masterpiece a film i recommend every one to watch.

Dislikes : The pace of the film is questionable but for this film im guess it had to be that way to tell the story.

Overall : Master piece, stunning visual effect, outstanding acting from all of the casts, total worth watching.

Story: Ten people arrive at a secluded mountain resort to find it completely deserted. With no gas for the return trip, the visitors are forced to stay and investigate the mystery surrounding the abandoned lodge but find something is off about the area thing' start to get very dark for this group as strange things start to happen.

Likes : Every now & then you can find a low budget horror film that is well made & extremely creepy ive got to hand it to director & writer Travis Oates of this film he knows how to make a simple low budget film psychologically creepy.
 "Don't Blink" directed by Travis Oats debut as a director, the film is pretty impressive enough to give even me chill's that is rare for me watch horror as ive haven't really found a creepy film like this for ages, this was a film that was recommend for me to watch im pretty glad i did.
 It's strong story really creates this dark unease atmosphere with a serious subject matter, straight forward dialogue and disturbing climactic scenes that just continue the story right up until the end-an end without finality! which is Something that makes this movie feel more authentic as a horror film to really play on your mind.
The story deals with something like a paranormal or supernatural uncertainty that creates this unnatural creepy atmosphere mostly from the start to the end. Yes the start is actually a concerted, cheese feast intro where you get to most of the lend character introduce them selves in the film so it start off like most other teenage or group horror film's.
In all seriousness  it actually sets the tone and gives us our characters back story without taking up a lot of dialogue in the main story.
The acting in "Don't Blink" is perfect, most of the cast give strong performances bringing cliché characters together in one disturbing experience as the film progress along. At times it does feel a bit too polished and insincere at times, but that is just because such attention has been paid to piecing this film together as perfect as possible to bring a believe & pretty much frightening film in a psychological way.
This is a film i can recommend to all psychological & paranormal horror fan as this offers a pretty dark creepy psychological concept that get completely under your skin & give you the chill's depend on the person you are, but this is worth watching.

Dislikes : The only problem with this film, is its not really explained or show why thing are happening to the group the ending is kind of left open given you unanswered question on what the hell is going on & why is this happen other than what your seeing in the film.

Overall : "Don't Blink" is a great horror story that warrants attention from horror fans. I think both psychological horror and paranormal horror fans will be very pleased with this one.

Story: Boyd Mitchler and his family must spend Christmas with his estranged family of misfits. Upon realizing that he left all his son's gifts at home, he hits the road with his dad in an attempt to make the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.

Likes : This was pretty hard to watch as it star one of my idols the late Robin Williams who dose a fantastic job a playing this grump old former alcoholic father who was never really there for he's kids, he's performance is as away perfect its such a sad time to see a great actor pass from us.
Although i wouldn't really say this is a comedy in a way as it very depressing & bleak at time's but you get why this is as it set a tone more as a drama than a comedy as you see the son Boyd Mitchler played by Joel McHale who seem to hate his father for never being around & always being drunk. The story goes along at a stead pace as you see the character's develop, it soon becomes this family bonding time with his father as he force to go back home to get something for he own son.
What clever is  this film show just how damaging curtain bad thing happen in family's can be this is where this film start to take on a bleak dark tone of sadness, it not really a funny comedy its more of a black comedy drama type film in a way but still worth watching.

Dislikes : Comedy's are meant to lift you up & make you feel good, this just ended up making me depressed just because of the tone of the film, although i thought it was good film, but this is far from a comedy lack the laughter & light humour.

Overall : A bit of a dark tone, a little bleak but was good in places.

Rating: 4.3 out of 10 for entertainment / 6.1 out of 10 for storyline.

Story: Six young computer hackers sent to work on a derelict space freighter, are forced to match wits with a vengeful artificial intelligence that would kill to be human.

Likes : This is not a bad film but still not a great film, the concept of the film feel's similar to ghost in the machine meets event horizon in curtain ways seem to worked so much better has nothing to do with its production values and everything to do with its focus on atmosphere—an area where Debug has every opportunity to try to match this film, but dosent seem to quite mange it some how which seem to try to hard with it budget.
In all fairness, Debug manages to stand up fairly well in quite a few aspects and punches which is well above its budget in terms of production values.
The acting in this film is well acted, with the exception of Jason Momoa's who seem to come off a little bad not sure if this is a character script failure or he just didn't suit this role. Perhaps, already having achieved star status's with the character Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, he didn't feel the same need to distinguish himself as the other actors.
 Either way, the lacklustre sleaze he brings to the role cheapens and stifles all tension and drama whenever he is on screen. Jeananne Goossen and Sidney Leeder, in contrast, bring life and character to their roles, whereas the rest of the cast is simply passable which makes this a watchable film but its not without its flaws.
The special effect arnt cheaply done, but done with simple c.g.i effects to look realistic enough, for a low budget sci-fi horror, which is something you really have to enjoy watching if not a film i would recommend unless your into the low budget film's.

Dislikes : The film try's to be to much like event event horizon & ghost in machine it just fails in both, some of the acting is questionable but the film itself is watchble barely watchable.

Overall : Watch-able film for a low budget sci-fi horror

Rating: 3.4 out of 5 for entertainment / 4.7 out of 10 for concept.

Story: As Grace heads off to college and experiences a lifestyle far different than the one she had brought up under her grandmother's strict hand, she begins a traumatic downward spiral that threatens her sanity. The more she explores the true nature of her nightmares and black outs, the more it becomes clear that an outside, supernatural force is responsible.

Likes : This is the story of Grace ( played by the beautiful Alexia Fast), an orphan whose mother died in childbirth and a father she never knew, as she head off to collage she start to experience alot of dark & disturbing thing happen. This is the type of sub-genre of 'Demonic Possession' that has become most frequent in recent horror movie releases through out the years & most of them turns out average or below average or just a complete time-waster watching but this is such an under rated film for what it is.
What is good about this film is that its not the typical found footage film which seem to get seriously boring because it become over kill with this , this is a film that is filmed with the P.O.V of the person experiencing thing happening with her which i found cleverly done.
 Brilliant acting job for a convincing character by the beautiful actress Alexia Fast, i thought it was about time they gave her a role where she is the main character just to show off just how good she is of a actress, instead of a back ground role which i saw her in (Tom cruise Jack Reacher).
Surprising to see in a supporting role of this nature, Joel David Moore as a deacon and youth group leader, which is a much more serious role than he is known for playing in such films as "Dodgeball" and "Hatchet". In the second half, he becomes the object of Grace's questionable affections. In some ways, this is the most troubling and gets into the dangerous territory of priests and sex.
Another supporting role has Lin Shaye ( insidous, oujia ) as an ultra-religious grandmother (or foster mother). Shaye has been a horror staple at least since "A Nightmare on Elm Street", and she is fine form here, even if her role is rather small.

For a film of this type normal the effect are pretty low but this is more than expected even better than average, the possession effects are brilliantly done in a way to look scary & dark, including burns, vomiting blood and the loss of teeth as the film progress's the scares and the suspense is built up quite nicely to an ending that much like the exorcist in a ways.This is a film worth watch as it is unique way of filming i hope to see more film's like this in the future.

Dislikes : Some of the film can be slow pace but this is to slow the development of the film to it climax ending.

Overall : Pretty disturbing, dark & Gothic, brilliant acting. new way of filming.

Violence & Gore: - A young boy makes homemade weapons including a dart gun and baseball launcher to use in defense against an imaginary monster. He brings some of these weapons to school.

- A young boy proclaims loudly that he is going to "Smash (the monster's) head in".

- A young boy pushes a young girl out of a tree house. She is not seen hitting the ground, but she is seen on the ground crying with visible blood around her nose. Her mother later states that her nose was broken in two places.

- A pop-up children's book is read to a young child, which includes thinly veiled violent threats. The child is severely disturbed.

- A pop-up children's book appears a second time, this time depicting a woman graphically snapping her dog's neck, strangling her child and slitting her own throat in addition to the previous material.

- A young boy yells at his mother "Do you want to die?".

- A woman is drinking soup when she bites down on a piece of glass. There is blood on the glass when she removes it from her mouth. When she ladles through her soup bowl, several other pieces of glass are found.

- A woman crashes her car into an oncoming vehicle while suffering a panic attack. Her young child is in the car with her. No one is injured, but she drives away from the scene.

- A monster-like figure drops onto a woman twice. We see the woman scream, but the impact is not seen.

- A woman dreams that she sees her young son dead. Blood is over his shirt and face.

- A woman threatens a young boy with a large kitchen knife.

- A woman snaps her pet dog's neck and it is killed. The dog is seen struggling and whining for several moments, but most takes place offscreen. The dog's body is seen being thrown on the ground, but nothing bloody or graphic is seen. A small boy later enters the room and sees the dead dog.

- A woman pulls a tooth from her mouth. She yanks at it for several seconds and crunching noises are heard. There is blood shown after it comes loose.

- A young boy shoots a woman in the arm with a dart gun, hits her in the head with a baseball and trips her with a tripwire as she is walking down a flight of stairs, causing her to hit her head on an overhang and stumble down the remainder of the stairs. No blood is seen.

- A young boy stabs a woman in the leg with a large kitchen knife. Minimal blood is seen.

- A woman strangles a young boy violently. Close-ups of his face are seen.

- In a hallucination/dream sequence, a man's head is split horizontally and the top half falls away from the bottom. This is not done in a realistic or particularly violent way. The man falls to the floor and his brain is seen inside his skull. Again, this is not particularly violent or realistic. It is silent and no blood is seen, the image is horrific but dreamlike.

- A woman vomits copious amounts of a black, blood-like substance.

- A young boy is seen dragged up the stairs and thrown against the wall twice by an unseen entity

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  - A boy suffers a seizure whilst yelling at an invisible monster. He thrashes and convulses onscreen for several seconds. He also suffers a similar attack in his home, yelling "Don't let it in!" loudly and repeatedly while seeming to suffer extreme shock.

- The pop-up children's book featured in the film is graphic and can be quite intense when it is being read or viewed.

- There are several intense scenes featuring a monster that is often shadowed and appears suddenly. The sound the monster makes is also incredibly scary. These scenes can be extremely frightening.

- The themes of this film are very intense. A very young boy is put in several frightening situations and some may find this quite confronting.

- Definite trigger warnings for anyone who had a violent or abusive relationship with parents, especially those who were threatened or assaulted by a parent. 

Story: A single mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son's fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her.

Likes : The Babadook is a 2014 Australian horror film written and directed by Jennifer Kent, and produced by Causeway Films. The film was shown at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim. Every was raving about this film from the trailer this looks pretty frightening, although i will say dont let your kids watch this,seriously they will never go to sleep again this will give them night terrors.
The concept of the film is very disturbing in dark way with a psychological concept while the movie focus's on Babadook itself, a dark nightmare creature from children's tale but even The Babadook appearance its smartly done in a way to not fully show what it looks like. The débutant director, Jennifer Kent has successfully and smartly convinced also planted images of Babadook character at audience's mind without showing to much this is what i find very clever in frightening the audience's. 
This reminds me of the old dark fairytale like the tooth-fairy & other creepy tale that keep you from sleep at night, i will say good job to the director in this one i will say this is not a bad film although i do feel its a little over rated as this film dose have it flaws.
The film cleverly embraces and deconstructs typical horror film conventions in order to create something new & truly dark & frightening to some audiences. Though it is hilariously playful and entertaining, this film also has this terrifying psychological thrill in the same vein as films like Black Swan, Rosemary's Baby or woman in black .  Essie Davis is great as Amelia, but newcomer Noah Wiseman gives an incredibly memorable child acting performance as her son Samuel.
There are a few moments that this film gets a little disturbing special the scene with the mother as you start to see her de-meaner change from this quiet woman to a violent nasty woman, which reminds me of the (The Exorcist). For me i didn't really find this frightening in a way i just found it a little weird & odd at times although it was disturbing in place's but im not about to look under or in the cupboard to see if any thing is there lol, i bet some people will after watching this because some viewers might find this very psychologically frightening if it can do that then this film is a master piece because its done what a horror should do frighten the hell out of you.
This is pretty good horror film but not a high rating film as ive said this film is slightly flawed, but this is a film i can recommend to horror fans

Dislikes : Flew problems with this film one being the pace, the pace is a little to slow for the concept it dose start to get a little boring before things start to happen that almost not until half way through the film. The other thing as well is the ending its like it get a start that start off very slow pick up half way through then you get an end that you dont know weather to scratch you head at or say WTH, just one of the weirdest endings that didn't make sense it dosent explain iver other than the fact your seeing what you seeing.

Overall : Pretty dark & psychological, Some frightening moments & some disturbing scenes

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 for entertainment / 6.3 out of 10 for concept.

Story:A girl is mysteriously killed after recording herself playing with an ancient Ouija Board, which leads to a close group of friends to investigate this board. They later find out that some things aren't meant to be played with, especially the 'other side'

Likes : Note: I will say is this film over glamorises the Ouijia board as a toy, be warn this is not a toy or a game to be taken lightly yes this film is dramatise but the real events that come from using a oujia board the wrong way are real.
These things do work & are used by people who are fully trained in how to use them, these are not to be used as toys or game you need to respect the board as a tool & nothing else because these can be very dangerous not just for yourselves but for the people around you when using the board beware there is a demonic entity called the zozo, yes its real that is attracted to people opening a door way with the board.
As for the film this is not a bad film, although there are a few flaws it dose mange to make you jump in curtain places, the story is ok but a little weak & slightly mediocre for a horror film as this type of concept has been done before so dont expect anything that hasn't been done before but dose mange to keep you watching.
The special effect of the film are brilliant done to give a chilling dark atmosphere as some moment do give you that cold chilling feeling, this is pretty much back up with the acting from the cast which is convincing enough to make you believe this is happening to the group. This to me was frightening in places & some what dark & chilling but it just wasn't a brilliant it was an ok film, but some this may be frightening to some viewer as some scene are pretty disturbing it dose give you that cold chill down you spine.

Dislikes : My only complaints about this film it the fact this could have been done in a better way with a much darker concept that could easily chill you to the bone, sadly this dosent do that i feel the story writing is a little lazy here gone with a safe option instead of pushing this concept to a dark level.
Most of the film is ok in part but 70% of this film is to predictable & the pace of this film is a little to slow for when nothing much happens it kind of kill's the creep horror mood the film is trying to come across, just feel like it trying to hard to frighten the audience it just come off flat because its predictable. As we all know predictable moments aren't scary or make you jump lot of this film dose this which is ashame because a film of this type has so much potential to be more frightening.

Overall : Not a bad film, few jumpy moment & chilling moment, but could of been better for what it was,but still worth watching for entertainment value.

Rating: 4.2 out of 5 for entertaining / 6.8 out of 10 for concept.
