Likes : This is a truly well made film staring two of the best actors around Robert Duvall & Robert Downey Jr in a family style court room drama about a son who return home after learn a family member had died & the story take on a family reconciliation as you see a family feud come to light between father & son.
The thing i love about this film is it has its moments where is can become very serious drama moments but then you get moments that you laughing as Robert Downey Jr as we all know has this sarcastic humor in his acting but still manages to play the serious tone of his character as well which is what make Robert Downey Jr a great actor. Robert Duvall performance is nothing short of brilliance playing the father they play off each other with some of the best performance to date to make a believable family feud come to light.
Billy Bob Thornton brought his a game in this film playing a sharp prosecutor that will do nothing but bring the law judgement perfect performance.
I knew this was going to be a hard hitting drama but what i didn't expect was the fact it a tear jerker as well as it gets pretty emotional special the ending, this is a film not just about the court room but family as well it a film if your in to drama film like this worth checking out despite the slight flaw in the story-line.

Dislikes : (Spoiler Alert) In any court room no family law that is a family member can represent a family in court because it a conflict of interest so this would never of happen.

Overall : heart breaking tear-jerker, serious at time & can be funny

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 9.3 out of 10 for story-line
