Running time: 75 min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: Gratuitous partial nudity in the first half hour. There are at least four instances where Harley and Killer Frost are topless, though nothing aside from bare shoulders and backs are seen due to convenient censoring (arms, camera angles, etc.).
Harley and Deadshot have sex. We see them tangle up naked on a bed (though no actual nudity is shown), and tumble off screen.
A few sexual references are made.

Violence & Gore: Various people are shot and killed with brief but bloody results.

Numerous rough fist fights break out between characters with some blood. The final fight involves stabbing, and a character being stuck in a helicopter, which falls out of a building and explodes.

The riot scene is quite violent, with many villains from Batman's 'Rogues Gallery' killing guards, police officers, and fellow inmates. Many people are shot, stabbed, crushed, thrown around, and blown up in this scene, though it isn't all that brutal.

Three characters' heads explode at different points in the film, two with bloody results. Joker then holds the head of one of them and cracks a joke.

A man pulls another man into a bush, and we hear the victim's neck snapping.

Killer Frost can freeze her victims before smashing them to pieces.

The Joker shoots and kills several people.

Batman breaks several bones during the opening fight scene.

Quite a bit of violence for a PG-13 movie, though not the worst of the DC Animated Features.

Profanity: Typical PG-13 language. 'Bitch' is used a few times, along with a few milder terms.

A character says "Motherf--" before the camera zooms out of her building, out of range before she can drop the full F-bomb.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:None.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Parents should be advised that just because this movie is in the kids section at Target doesn't mean it's for your six-year-old. The violence can shock some younger viewers.
The Joker can be frightening at times.
This film is pretty dark but it should be okay for fourteen-year-olds.

Story: Based on the hit video game series, Batman must find a bomb planted by the Joker while dealing with a mysterious team of villains called, The Suicide Squad.

Likes : DC animated movies almost never fail to please me and Batman: Assault on Arkham, directed by Jay Oliva and Ethan Spaulding, portrays criminals with a vicious and sexy attitude,With almost all the same voice actors from the Batman Arkham series including Kevin Conroy, Oliva and Spaulding take the Batman animated movies into Arkham Asylum just as portrayed in the Arkham video games series. In my opinion, it's about time Warner Brothers created a Batman animated movie based on the atmosphere of the Arkham games as it is so popular with the fans.
Interestingly enough, this movie focuses more on a criminal special task force created by Amanda Waller, who also created the Suicide Squad, rather than Batman; however, there was still enough of Batman to satisfy our Dark Knight needs especially when the voice is Kevin Conroy.
What surprised me the most was Troy Baker as the voice of the Joker. Though he has been the voice of Joker before, feel Mark Hamill dose it better he seem to capture the joker nature better.Kind of surprised of DC putting in a some what sex scene which i thought was ballsy of them so fair play to that, It's got Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Killer Frost, Black Spider, Captain Boomerang, KGBeast, and King Shark press-ganged into forming the Suicide Squad to infiltrate Arkham Asylum and get out with Riddler's secrets that may ruin Amanda Waller if they're posted on the internet. On top of that, Batman is out looking for a dirty bomb that the Joker has stashed somewhere in the city, which, if it went off, could blow up half or more of the population, so your looking at a pretty dark story like most DC animated film are.
The art style is great and it goes well with the animation. The action sequences are well done and thrilling to watch. Character designs are appealing to look at, and strangely enough, it seemed like Harley and Killer Frost couldn't keep their freaking shirts on for more than five minutes at a time within the first half hour of the movie. Not that that's something to complain much about, but it was a little bit distracting in terms of having partial nudity which wasn't really necessary to be in there but who going to complain about that.
All in all not a bad DC animated film with some top notch art work with a good storyline, that all DC fans will love, although a few might not like this as it not going to be for everyone, as for age i would say you could possible get away with a 14 year old watching this but any younger would be ill-advised.

Dislikes : The only thing i will say is that not of fan will like this one depends on you taste of animated films.

Overall : Good storyline, great art work, good character design.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.1 out of 10 for storyline/ concept
