George and Kathleen Lutz's story went on to inspire a best-selling novel and the subsequent films have continued to fascinate audiences today. This documentary reveals the horror behind growing up as part of a world famous haunting and while Daniel's facts may be other's fiction, the psychological scars he carries are indisputable. Documentary filmmaker, Eric Walter, has combined years of independent research into the Amityville case along with the perspectives of past investigative reporters and eyewitnesses, giving way to the most personal testimony of the subject to date.

Likes : Finally we got the truth of that night in question when the lutz fled the house & never returned, the whole thing was blame to be a hoax. well watching this myself watch the way Daniel is speaking, body language & he words there is a lot on emotion scar's there but from what I can see is he's tell the truth, there is a reason it's his body language that give it away. Now psychologist might say that this whole story could be made up because of the emotional scars, but its the way the other eye witness are describing about the priest warning to the paranormal investigators to not enter the house again or alone is one of the most spine chilling & disturbing things you're ever here from someone that was in eyewitness.
It got to be the way Daniel is tell what happen from day one entering the house to the moment they fled the house I kid you not is very disturbing, it really does bring tears to your eye listen to the way Daniel was treated by George because there was real pain in the words he was saying which really makes you feel emotion that a young boy when through this haunting being possessed every one looking at him as if it never happen because of the films & the book that was done but what he tell the reporters is real you can see that in he eyes & the conviction behind those words. If you still think the haunting was a hoax because of the books & film then watch this documentary because it really does reveal the night in question & give you prove from Daniel himself & a few other things as well that wasn't told until now.

Dislikes :Nothing wrong.

Overall : intriguing, disturbing & shocking documentary of the truth behind the haunting at Amityville a must to watch if you want the truth.

Rating:  4.7 out of 5 for background reporting / 7.5 out of 10 for revealing the truth behind the haunting.
