Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.
Sex & Nudity: An innocent act is made to look like a man masturbating another man, performing fellatio on him, and inserting his finger into the man's anus. He however is not actually doing any of this.
A sex addiction group meets and there is raunchy discussion of sexual acts, including fellatio and anal rimming. The acts are described in false story involving two fourteen year old boys at summer camp. The scene is a bit disturbing. There is also discussion of a character's sexuality in this scene.
We see grainy footage of sexual acts in surveillance camera footage. It is not entirely clear what is happening, but we see a man's naked bottom, as well as some thrusting.
Kurt frequently objectifies women.
Other scenes of crude or sexual humor throughout.
Violence & Gore: Some fighting and punching, mostly for comedic effect.
There is a mildly intense car chase scene that features dangerous driving and constant peril.
A character is shot and killed, and there is a small amount of blood.
Another character is shot, but only injured. Some blood shown.
Profanity: Frequent use of "f*ck" and "motherf*cker"
Many uses of words like "sh*t", "d*ck", "c*ck", "t*ts", "a**hole", "blowjob", "bitch", "ass", "damn", "hell", "balls", and "piss".
Potentially offensive words are used, such as "Jesus Christ" and a website name "NickKurtDale" (which is interpreted as "N*ggerDale" several times).
Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Casual drinking and smoking, but it is never the focus of the scene.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Characters being shot may upset children.
The car chase is mildly intense, and full of danger.
Story: Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business. But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor's adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.
Likes : I wasn't much of a fan of the first film which had a few laughs but just wasn't funny enough but this sequel actually did something right this time actually made the comedy funny, the the sense of humour that you have to have or you wont find this funny, but i found this pretty mush funny as hell.
Nick Hendricks (Bateman), Dale Arbus (Day), and Kurt Buckman (Sudeikis) remind me of the 3 stooges just making a plain just completely screw it up, after the first film having to work with their bosses that hated this time they have decided to start their own business together making an invention.
Think they've attracted the interest of a rich investor and his son, named Bert (Waltz) and Rex Hanson (Pine) they thinking they have made the big time only to put in a situtation that is not only hilarious but a complete mess that put them in the firing line of the cops.
This Sequel gets everything right that the first film got wrong from beginning to end, thanks in large part to the directing of director Anders and the clever writing team of Anders and Morris. The jokes rarely miss its timing and it's got a pretty clever caper storyline with a awesome car chase climax. The film's success is also thanks largely to the outstanding cast this film has, that seems like they're having a lot more fun this time; as you can see it in the bloopers (in the end credits). you can also just feel it in the movie (the whole way through). This is comedy done right; much better than the original which i feel the critic dont have much of a sense humour because this is a funny film!
Dislikes : Some jokes do fall flat but all in all this is a great film.
Overall : Better than the first film, Hilarious comedy in places.
Rating: 4.5 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.8 out of 10 for storyline.
