Story: A mysterious warrior teams up with the daughter and son of a deposed Chinese Emperor to defeat their cruel brother, who seeks their deaths.

Likes : There isn't anything special here, the plot & casting is pretty good, the acting is ok although sometime force in places, but still a simple storyline you can follow from a certain point but it sadly flawed, in part not only storyline but in filming. sadly this feels like an amateur filming a epic tale & getting it all wrong which is shame because this film could of had potential, but as i said complete flawed.

Dislikes : One of the problems this film has is it lack of direction in the storyline  it feels meaningless by lack of no emotional & inspirational content, the makers tried to attract us with this image of an epic story of a warrior that has seen to much bloodshed in war looking for redemption.but this storyline fail's to connect to this story as the beginning all we see is a man trying to defend his own family yet the main character feel the bad guy in the film instead of being the good guy he become later.
poor cinematography in fight scene made it felt you were to close like you were in the film battling this is bad for the film because the fight scene are way to shaky & hard to see the fight happening because your eye are not focus of the fight because the screen is shaking all over the place.
The story alone feels half done like it not finished as i said the storyline lack any emotional & anything to inspire you to root for the main character this is why this film has failed to impress, which is a shame for a Nicholas cage also staring as the main character Hayden Christensen who didn't do a bad job just let down but the story & scripting.

Overall : Simple story, nothing special rental film at best, not worth buying on DVD unless you like it

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 for entertainment / 5.7 out of 10 for storyline
