Frightening/Intense Scenes: The whole film has a very intense tone.

Story: An air marshal springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk unless the airline transfers $150 million into an off-shore account.

Likes : From the get go & the trailer your thinking that this is just going to be a typical liam nelson film like taken on a plane but dam this film complete throw's that concept out the window & throw you into an intense ride all the way to the end with Suspense, twists, emotional stuff, realization.
Liam Neeson is at his best in this film with a perfect performance playing an alcoholic air marshal after personal tragic events in his life involving his child & wife which is reveled in the film, he really bring a top notch performance as he try to find who the person is this is what bring the tension to this film as it throw you in different direction which is clever Julianne Moore i think is brilliantly casted in this film to throw the audience off in thinking that its her character that doing it.
The best thing about this film is from the get go the moment he steps on the plane, you notice he's character starts looking at people like he mapping where they are or who stands out on the plane, but the clever thing is it keeps you guess, because it does reveal who the person is or who is threaten the plane until the end that where this film surprises you because you don't see it coming which make a well made film to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Through out the film's ive seen ive never watch a more intense film, special with a spectacular intense ending that this film has really does pull your emotion in to over drive, that what make this film so worth watching.
The plot line is brilliantly done no real plot-holes or goofs, keeps you into it at every second of the film! With better than expected plot and better than expected technical prowess, Non-Stop is a great movie for action fans who want something a little bit more!

Dislikes : The pace of the film is slight slow, but all in all this is a good film.

Overall : One of the most intense film your ever watch, brilliant plot story-line, great twist to throw you off think who its is, one of the most intense endings in a film. a must to see.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 9.7 out of 10 for story-line/ intense concept.

Story: The story begins as WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and his colleague Daniel Domscheit-Berg (Daniel Brühl) team up to become underground watchdogs of the privileged and powerful. On a shoestring, they create a platform that allows whistle-blowers to anonymously leak covert data, shining a light on the dark recesses of government secrets and corporate crimes. Soon, they are breaking more hard news than the world's most legendary media organizations combined. But when Assange and Berg gain access to the biggest trove of confidential intelligence documents in U.S. history, they battle each other and a defining question of our time: what are the costs of keeping secrets in a free society-and what are the costs of exposing them?

Likes: Every single review ive seen about this film has been say that this story is one sided or only telling the story of the whistle blower which just show how completely blind people are to the real world & just how corrupt the governments are, the one thing i saw in this film that seriously made my blood boil was the fact they use terrorism as an excuses to killing to kids.
I don't give a sh*t who you are or how powerful you think you are, killing children in the world & covering it up & blaming terrorism as an excuse for killing them, just show how society in this world has fall in to the depth of hell & doing the devils work through greed , power & corruption which this film shown perfect plus shows just how the government's around the world work & pull the wool over some peoples eye's, making them think what they are doing is for peace when behind closed door their killing innocent people over power & hiding it.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange done the right thing by exposing this corruption, the government trying to say that this leak was in dangering other peoples life is hypocritical when they killed million of people off camera & hiding it, if they were that worried this this would be leaked why the f-ing hell did the government do it in the first place, there is an old saying liar get found out in the end, corruption cant hide from thinking smart people.
Benedict Cumberbatch is fantastic in this film show a person with personal issues that also see the corruption in the world & just wants to show the world what are governments were hiding because it the right thing to do to stand up for peoples right to live.
This film is a very controversial subject  raises some interesting questions and also talks about the challenges we face now with news going out onto today Internet sources. Bank's shouldn't help customers cheat the U.S. out of $30 billion in taxes or any other country in the world,  but I don't believe military strategy should be leaked but i still feel like it should be exposed if its for the wrong reason's, and I believe that sources of family should be protected for their own safety because their innocent but the person in question should be leaked for corruption . It seems like so much of what we hear today, from politicians and celebrities and publicists is "is to spin us off the real truth." And most of us are aware that there's more than they're telling us.
Although slow this film is very interesting in show just how corrupt the world has become.

Dislikes: The pace of the film could of been a bit faster in my opinion.

Overall: Interest film on true events to expose corruption in the world, although pace is slow it not a bad film.

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.8 out of 10 for true story/real events

Film Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

Genre:  Action  Adventure  Comedy

Cert: 12A

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: April kisses Casey

Violence & Gore:The kind of violence you would expect from a martial arts movie.
The shredder is very intimidating. Could frighten younger audiences
The end fight is intense and may upset younger viewers
The shredder's death could upset some people, the shredder falls off a building, falls into a garbage compacter, Casey pushes the compact button, the shredder gets crushed (not graphic but unsettling)
The fight in April's apartment is very intense. A fire starts in the apartment.
Splinter is captured by the foot
Splinter is hanged by his arms
The shredder punches splinter in the face multiple times (splinter gets some scars. Very upsetting)
Splinters owner is killed

ProfanityDamn-9/Hell-2/God-7/Ass-1/Spaz-3 ...and the word "bitchin'" is used at the very end to describe someone who just got beat up.
There is a scene where Donnie and Casey insult each other, played for laughs (not offensive)
The word "Spaz" is used 3 times, which could be offensive to some audiences

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: the Foot Clan has an underground base where underage kids smoke cigarettes, cigars and drinking
A kid asks a guy "do you have any cigarettes?"

Frightening/Intense Scenes: The end battle is very intense
All the fight scenes can be very intense to some viewers
The word "spaz" is used a couple of times, may offend some people
The story of splinters past is very upsetting
A fire starts in an apartment
The shredder's death is unsettling
Splinter takes some abuse from the shredder, may upset viewers
the Shredder may be intimidating for smaller children

Story: Through contact with a mysterious substance, called Ooze, 4 little turtles in the canalization of New York mutate to giant turtles. They can speak, walk upright and love pizza. The wise rat Splinter becomes their mentor and educates them to Ninja fighters. Their arch-enemy is the bad, bad guy Shredder, who struggles to gain power over the world. Of course the ninja turtles will do everything to stop him.

Likes : You might say it has no story line but I say it's kept simplistic for all the comic book fans. You don't want to confuse people with a massive complex tale. No one argues with 'Enter the Dragon' having a bad story line. This film, released at the height of "Turtlemania" in the summer of 1990, raked in $133 million at the box office, quickly making it the highest grossing independent film of all time. That's good considering it also faced heavy competition from another comic book adaptation that year, "Dick Tracy," which was directed by Warren Beatty and was quite groundbreaking, on its own terms of course.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie" is the best adaptation of the comics so far, and I loved it. It is one of the best comic-to-film adaptations of all time and should be preserved. "TMNT" forever!
This is one of those film that is still a classic retro film even after 24 years, the slap stick comedy & the one liners make this a high entertaining film to watch.Don't listen to people who tell you that this movie is not really kid friendly. It deals with issues that all kids need to learn about, namely how joining a gang is not the answer because, despite the allure, that is not the kind of family that really looks after each other. Shredder's gang represents a choice that many kids have to make; whether to go with the crowd who are doing wrong, or to stand up for what is right and what they believe in.
All the turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael) are great, portrayed mostly accurately. They all act like typical family members who have their arguments and fun times together and their master Splinter makes for a great father and wise mentor. This all brings a great deal of realism as does the grim situations and occasional swearing. April, Casey Jones, Tatsu, and a few other characters deliver great, if not somewhat over-the-top, performances but that what make this film great. If you grow up before the 90s you would of grow up on this film & loved it, not alot of people like this film that grow up after the 90s, but for me this is one of the all time greatest classic films that you jut cant go wrong with.
As for the remake i know alot of fans of the original don't like the idea of the original being remade but im willing to give it a chance hopefully it will be a worth remake, but as for this original film this is totally worth having your dvd collection, the sequel is pretty good as well just a shame they ruin the third film but changing the look of the turtles, but the original film i recommend f you have never watched this film.

Dislikes : Didn't like what they did with the third film, other than that this film is spot on amazing.

Overall : Great performances, brilliant adaptation of the comics, perfect retro film.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.7 out of 10 for Comic book action/ slap stick comedy

Film Review: The Core

Genre: Action  Adventure  Sci-Fi

Cert: 12A

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: none

Violence & Gore: At the beginning of the film, some people die for an unknown reason.
A lightning storm devastates Rome, historical buildings including the Colosseum are crumbled into pieces . After that, we see in an aerial view that the city was badly damaged and there are fires all over the city.
The ray of sunlight lands on San Francisco, destroying the ozone layer and the middle part of the Golden Gate Bridge was destroyed. We see lots of cars explode.
A person is trapped in compartment that's closing in on him. It's implied that he is crushed to death.
A rock pierces a man's helmet and blood is seen trickling down his forehead and falls in magma

Profanity: The F-word is used once.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Dr. Zimsky smokes cigarettes frequently throughout the beginning of the movie

Frightening/Intense Scenes: A person is trapped in compartment that's closing in on him. It's implied that he is crushed to death maybe be a little disturbing to some viewers.

Story: The Earth's core has stopped spinning. Disasters are appearing all over the world: Birds acting crazy, powerful thunderstorms, 32 people die within seconds of each other when their pacemakers quit working. Dr. Josh Keyes and his crew of five (total members: 6) go down to the center of the Earth to set off a nuclear device to make the Earth's core start spinning again or Mankind will perish.

Likes : This is a film that is has got some unfair reviews because this film despite the reputation it got is a dam good film, that give real facts on how the earth work's, if this happen like a event like this, this would happen to our earth minus the drilling through the earth to save it.
When i saw this film i though it was going to be another cheesy disaster film, but it was far from it, it start off pretty well with all sort of things going on then you see people drop dead this is what set the mood for the rest of the film as you start to see that the world is in deep trouble.
Along with it C.G.I special which on the budget this film had wasn't to bad, as most of the filming was film inside the drilling ship as they travel to the core, along with some great acting this film was brilliantly done for a Sc-Fi/Disaster film. Like any disaster film there has to be few death's to keep the emotion & concept of risk that the mission might fail which i think its cleverly placed through out the film, i think it worked for the film.
while they had a bit of a hook up between Aaron Eckhart and Hilary Swank it was very subtle and didn't happen till the end of the movie. Overall brilliant casting with Eckhart, Swank, Stanley Tucci, Delroy Lindo, Richard Jenkins, DJ Qualls and Bruce Greenwood bringing a unique adventure traveling deep into the earth core.I really don't understand why so many people think this film is bad, i think most of it is jump on the bandwagon because everyone else is pulling it down instead of making their own mind up.
For the budget this film had,you couldn't get a better film than this because the scientific side of his film is spot on to true facts about the earth, ya drilling to the center of the earth to restart it is a bit far fetched but it just a movie & this is what sc-fi is for to stretch the imagination.
If you haven't watched this film yet i can say that you should believe in the comment about this film because this is a well made film from director Jon Amiel, this is the film for me that got me in to 30 second to mars who done the brilliant sound track at the end.

Dislikes : This is a little short but still good film

Overall : Great disaster film, good acting, good special effect.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.1 out of 10 for story-line/Real fact about the earth.

Likes :  I get why people have put this film don't, but it like every remake of a film that from a Japanese original always gets put down, this really isn't as bad as everyone make it out to be.The ingredients for a horror to work is to kept the film dark & atmospheric with a creepiness that get under your skin, this film dose all of the above which make this a good horror film despite it being a remake of 2003s version.
There is something creepy that an evil spirit can use the telephone to kill you, but unlike the the film the ring with the video tape then the phone call, this is a phone call that will leave you your last moments of life, that to me is creepy in itself. Shannyn Sossamon plays role of an only child who father died when she was young, only to become faced with death as each one of her friends drop dead after a phone call, she plays this brilliantly to give a believable character.Edward Burns plays the reluctant hero in this film trying to track down what is causing this, he performance is good as always.
Alone with the special, the creepy moments when you see curtain things, you mind kind to start to drift in to this dark cold place you get a cold chill down your spine, despite what people may think of this film, this is pretty creep & dark. I've never seen the original film but then im not much one for Japanese film, i just cant get in to them of find them creepy when you watch the subtitles all the time, they don't have the same atmosphere to which you find creepy unless your from the country the film is from, but this isn't to bad, ive seen some worst horror film than this.
I wouldn't say its a perfect horror, but its still a great horror film to watch as it has everything a horror should be with some creepy scary moments to spine chilling moment's, what i will say though this film might not be for everyone as lot of people have expressed their disappointment in this film from the remake but a stand alone film its pretty good with a creepy child's tune.

Dislikes : I think this film could of done with more creepy death scene, i just think it was a little short on that but not a bad effect for a horror film.

Overall : Creepy moments, scary scenes, good acting

Rating: 4 out of 5 for entertainment / 6 out of 10 for story-line/ dark creepy theme

Film Review: A.I. Artificial Intelligence

GenreAdventure  Drama  Sci-Fi

Cert: 12 cert

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity:A character is a male prostitute. We see him flirting with woman and preparing for sex, though nothing is shown. Discussion about sex.
A character asks for a ride to a town, promising teens in the car prostitutes in their destination.
A character eagerly wants sex.
A child interrupts a woman sitting on a toilet going to the bathroom. We briefly see her legs and her bare buttocks from the side.
A woman wears a cleavage revealing dress.
Sexual innuendos.

Violence & Gore: One of Joes "women" is found lying dead in a hotel room. Her husband found out about her robot romances and killed her for it. Elsewhere, in a circus of sorts called a "Flesh Fair," robots are destroyed in gruesome ways. Since many of them look and act human, the spectacle takes on a dark hue as acid dissolves their faces, whirling propeller blades make mincemeat of their bodies and fire chars their skin. One machines grisly head flies through the air, landing right in front of David (and moviegoers). In a fit of angst and frustration, David attacks another identical robot asking to be friends, decapitating the being and bludgeoning it with a blunt weapon.

Profanity:  2 uses of d--n, and a uses of similar mild language and insults are scattered throughout

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Adults drink wine with a meal.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: This is actually a very disturbing film - emotionally harrowing, and frightening in many scenes. It is definitely not for small children.

Story: In the not-so-far future the polar ice caps have melted and the resulting rise of the ocean waters has drowned all the coastal cities of the world. Withdrawn to the interior of the continents, the human race keeps advancing, reaching the point of creating realistic robots (called mechas) to serve them. One of the mecha-producing companies builds David, an artificial kid which is the first to have real feelings, especially a never-ending love for his "mother", Monica. Monica is the woman who adopted him as a substitute for her real son, who remains in cryo-stasis, stricken by an incurable disease. David is living happily with Monica and her husband, but when their real son returns home after a cure is discovered, his life changes dramatically.

Likes : This film is why Steven Spielberg is one of the best director's in the world this film stand as monument to Stanley Kubrick film's like 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, In A.I., Spielberg masterfully adopts Kubrick's hard, bare-essentials style of direction, letting the photography tell the story, rather than the dialogue. This style allowed Kubrick to develop an enormous scope of ideas, stories and emotions in his movies. He had difficulty finding the right treatment for A.I. so he handed the project to Spielberg before Kubrick's pass away in 1999 to which Spielberg done a brilliant job at making this film.
"AI" transpires sometime in the near future after the polar ice caps have melted and flooded coastal cities and reduced natural resources. Mechanical androids have become popular since they require no commodities. Reproduction has also become highly illegal. Machines provide sexual services and if anyone wants a child, they will purchase a robot. However, the difference between a robot child and a living child is that robots cannot love.
That's the task professor Hobby (William Hurt) of Cybernetics Manufacturing has solved. He has made a robot child David played by Haley Joel Osment that can love, Haley Joel Osment is amazing, the robot/human emotion must be amazingly difficult to pull off effectively, but Osment does it with such relative ease to the point where you do believe he is a robot, not that he is just acting as a robot. Jude Law is excellent performance as Gigolo Joe , and so to is Frances O'Conner who plays a perfect performance as Monica Swinton. This one of those rare film that come out once in a while that astound the audience with an amazing heart warming story as well as perfect special effects that add to the magic of this film.
This is one of those film that will last a life time still be one of the greatest film to be made 30 years down the line, it one film i recommend watching & having in your DVD collection.

Dislikes : The pace of the film could have been a bit faster,it was a little slow but still a worth watching film.

Overall : brilliantly told story in a Pinocchio concept, great special effects, emotional journey

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.1 out of 10 for story-line/ theme

Film Review: The Prestige

Genre:  Drama Mystery Thriller

Cert: 12A

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: People kiss, and a man and a woman showing her back hold each other and kiss.
A shirtless man and his wife talk, and then kiss on the bed. She lays back and he lays on top of her, they kiss and moan, the scene then rapidly ends but sex is implied.
A man and his wife are shown to have a child.
A man has an affair with a woman who is not his wife, and this leads to arguments. We are told many times that the man and woman sleep together, and in one scene we see them post-coitus in bed. She is obviously nude but covered by bed sheets, and he is clothed. We don't see anything, and we see them kiss and talk.
A woman wears revealing clothing throughout. We see lots of cleavage on her breasts and most of her legs, with occasional glimpses of her partially clad buttocks.the man actually is not having an affair as it turns out

Violence & Gore:A man cuts another man's fingers off using a chisel (the man screams loudly and we see the bloody and bruised digits later).
A man shoots a man in the chest, the man gasps and slumps to the ground dead. We see some blood on his shirt.
A woman hangs herself (we see her feet swinging off the ground).
A man has a noose placed around his neck, a hatch opens beneath his feet, and we hear a crack.
A bird gets smashed. We see its bloody and mutilated body later. At another point, a bird is smashed again. The camera cuts away just in time, but we see a a large blood splatter.
A woman's fingers break by getting caught in some mechanism (we see blood and hear the woman screaming) but this scene ends very rapidly.
A man shoots another man's hand, taking off two of his fingers (we see the bloody digits).
A man falls through stairs and into a box where he is trapped, the box is nailed shut and then buried underground (the man in the box shoots through it and strikes a man on the outside in the arm). However the man is soon dug up and rescued.
A man is held by police with a nightstick across his throat, and he thrashes and struggles to get away.

Profanity: 1 scatological term, 1 anatomical term, 4 mild obscenities, name-calling (fool, stupid), 4 religious exclamations. bloody is used a lot. B****rd is used a few times

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:Men are shown drinking alcohol in a pub, people drink alcohol in several scenes, and people drink champagne in a celebratory scene. Two magicians stick messages to each other onto the bottom of glasses of beer. One man is described as being perpetually drunk and is shown comically stumbling around and slurring his words.
Later, a man notices that something is upsetting his wife when she starts drinking more often at home.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: The film has an intense and frightening atmosphere throughout. Everything is very intense and realistic, and the theme of obsession only adds.
A man falls into a water tank that locks (he struggles to get out but cannot) and a man tries to break the glass but cannot before the man drowns (we see the dead man on an autopsy table, his eyes are open and his body is pale). We see bits of this scene multiple times.
A woman is lowered into a tank of water, the lid of the tank is locked, she is unable to get out and she thrashes and struggles. It is later implied that this has happened several times.
There's a scene where one of the main characters is hanged. We see him drop but the camera cuts away before his neck breaks.
A room full of men drowned in tanks of water is shown.

Story:In the end of the Nineteenth Century, in London, Robert Angier, his beloved wife Julia McCullough and Alfred Borden are friends and assistants of a magician. When Julia accidentally dies during a performance, Robert blames Alfred for her death and they become enemies. Both become famous and rival magicians, sabotaging the performance of the other on the stage. When Alfred performs a successful trick, Robert becomes obsessed trying to disclose the secret of his competitor with tragic consequences.

Likes : The Prestige is a masterful exercise in storytelling with superb direction and powerful performances by a grand ensemble cast. From set and production design to cinematography, from script to presentation, Christopher Nolan has once again demonstrated why he is one of the film world's brightest up and coming directors. The Prestige only helps solidify his standing as one of the landmark directors of his generation.
The success of an act of illusion solely depends upon the deftness with which its three parts viz. the Pledge, the Turn, and the Prestige are performed. Similarly, for a movie to be a success, its three main aspects i.e. screenplay, direction, and acting are ought to be top-notch. Christopher Nolan incredibly manages to strike all the right cords with The Prestige.
The movie is a roller-coaster of a ride with intriguingly intertwined subplots and masterful time switching, which makes it one of a kind and an ultimate masterpiece as it take you on one direction, then throw you in another leaves you think what the hell is going on right to the end of the film where the film reveal's the direction & the prestige of the final act in the film that you don't see coming.
Through the the film you cant help but think by the end of the film that Michael Caine character was the true mastermind in the end just by he way it ended,  Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) and Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) at the start of their careers are highly ambitious young men assisting an elderly illusionist named Milton. Borden's incessant longing for innovation leads to the accidental death of Angier's wife. This is where this film take on that dark obsession & deception concept as Huge Jackman's character become obsessed with Christian Bale characters magic tricks which become a dark dangerous obsession that lends to a dark road.
Alot of people don't seem to like Scarlett Johansson but i happen o think she a great actress although a little weak in some roles but that down to not being giving the right role but she brilliant in a supporting roles like this also supporting role ingenious scientist named Nikola Tesla played by (David Bowie) who dose a fantastic performance & fitted the odd scientist which they call the wizard.
This is a film i recommend you watch if you haven't already watched this, you wont be disappointed as this is a rare & beautiful made film from Christopher Nolan.

Dislikes : Nothing wrong with this film

Overall : brilliant performances, Brilliant twist & deception, a must to watch.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 9.4 out of 10 for story-line/ twist & deception.

Film Review: Most Wanted (1997)

Genre:  Action Thriller

Cert: 15 cert

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: Naked woman stepping out of a pool briefly breast showing

Violence & Gore: Alot of fight scene show brutal hits, man fall from a highway, blood is seen on the face, man gets shot in both legs, man get shot in the head body's are see on the floor,House explosion.

Profanity: There are a few f words throw, few sh*t words

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Cigar is seen being smoked

Frightening/Intense Scenes: Man seen being shot in the head maybe a little disturbing

Story: Sgt. James Dunn, who is wrongly accused of assassination of the officer he had a row with, is saved from death row and recruited for top-secret special operations squad led by Lt. Col Grant Casey. Their mission is to neutralise criminals who had avoided conventional law enforcement methods. On his first Mission, James is made the fall guy for the assassination of the first lady and everyone is looking for him and Dr. Victoria Constantini who was lucky to videotape what happened. One of the forces looking for him is military, led by Gen. Adam Woodward, which is in fact an alias for Grant Casey.

Likes : This is not as bad as some people make it out to be, it an average action thriller that works well with a great story-line of cat & mouse concept with a lot smoke, mirror & deception thrown in which make this an interesting film to watch. Throughout the '80s, we saw a trend toward more and more outrageous action films. The Die Hard series really pushed the limits of the suspension of disbelief, and that trend continued with a number of other films. Most Wanted is a continuation of this trend, perhaps the culmination of it.
Keenan Ivory Wayans (Scary movie, Glimmer man) does a brilliant job as a hero, condemned for defending himself from an order he refuse to carry out get draw in to a fake assassination plot & it become a dangerous game of deception as he tries to uncover the truth of why he was set up, Keenan does this brilliant with a quote (we're marine, we don't plain, we improvise).
Jill Henessy (Crossing Jordan) does a brilliant performance playing the witness that get unwittingly involved which put her life in danger, together Gy. Sgt. James Dunn played by Keenan they must find the truth.Special mention to John Voight (Deliverance, Midnight Cowboy , Pearl Harbor) playing as a crazed and evil General in a sensationalistic and overblown interpretation but played this role perfect for a believe character which gave this film a true villain of this film.
The best part of this is it keeps twisting and turning right to the end which make this one of those film's you you can really sit down & watch all he way through with out being board depend on your taste of film, but this is a great film to watch.

Dislikes : This film could of done with a sequel, but clearly his film didn't get enough reception for being made which is a shame because of the best film can be see with a low budget in special effects with no C.G.I.

Overall : Great performances, good action scene, good twist in the story.

Rating: 4.8 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.6 out of 10 for story-line/ action

Film Review: The Right Kind of Wrong

Genre:  Comedy Romance

Cert: 18 r-rated due to sex scene's

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: Scene of nudity & sex

Violence & Gore: blood is seen from the nose & mouth after a crash with a hand-glider, teenage beat up a man, woman punch a man in the face

Profanity:  mild to strong language a few f word are throw

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: drink in bar scene

Frightening/Intense Scenes: none

Story: In this romantic comedy, The Right Kind of Wrong, Leo Palamino is a failed-writer-turned-dishwasher made famous for his many flaws and shortcomings in a blog called "Why You Suck," a huge Internet success written by his ex-wife. Then Leo meets Colette, the girl of his dreams... on the day she is marrying the perfect man. And so, the ultimate underdog story begins as Leo, a fearless dreamer, risks all to show Colette and the whole wide world all that is right with a man famous for being wrong.

Likes : Filmed in beautiful Banff, Alberta. About a failed writer whose ex- girlfriend writes a blog about what a loser he is, that goes viral. After the break up he see a woman of his dreams & falls in love with her on her own wedding day to someone else.Which start off Fairly tame but actually gets better in the second half with some funny but tragic moment that you ive cry at or laugh at.
one thing that make this film good is the beautiful surrounding this film is set in such a beautiful place to live, it give this film its romantic feel as Leo Palamino played by Ryan Kwanten (star of true blood) try to win the heart of Colette played by the beautiful Sara Canning who hate the corruption & greed but she marride to the wrong person which Leo Palamino see's, this is where this film take on a comical but romantic concept as try to win her heart is not so easy.
One thing about this film is the character grow on you, you come to love them all & start routing for leo even tho what he was going was wrong.
Also with this film, it has a life lession in relationships & love, that is to not settle down to fast with someone because at first they may seem to be the one you think you want to be with but that love blinds you to the real personally traits of someone you cant stand to be around, it why it best to to slow down & take your time to get to know someone because the right guy/woman could be passing you by your with the wrong person, that is the beauty behind this film with the two character's.This is a film i recommend on a valentine date movie or a lazy afternoon film.

Dislikes : nothing wrong with this film.

Overall : Beautiful surrounding, great romantic story, funny in part, all round good film.

Rating: 4.6 out of 5 for entertainment / 7.8 out of 10 for story-line

Film Review: Knight of Badassdom

Genre: Adventure Comedy Fantasy Warning this film does have violent content

Cert: 18 R-rated

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: brief scene of sexual nature in a dream state, two girl's kissing

Violence & Gore: Hearts being torn out, brief scene of blood all over the wall, head being torn off as well as limbs

Profanity: Mild to strong language

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Weed is seen being smoked through a bong & alcohol drinking

Frightening/Intense Scenes: a demonic woman face changes & heart, limbs & head being removed might be a little disturbing for some viewers.

Story: A group of geeky nerd larping unwittingly summon a demon from an ancient book which they though was just a normal role book, now there face with impossible odd to destroy this demon before hell on earth begin's

Likes : First of all this film scream's 80s era, special with the special effect very low budget it the 80s style of special effect concept of this film which isn't to bad but i cant say this was a brilliant film, its enjoyable to watch but i wouldn't go out of my way to said this is a fantastic film.

This is for sure a geek film, just because of the theme & concept of larping, if you a geek your going to love this film.Peter Dinklage (star of game of thrones) does a pretty good job in this film and im pretty shocked to see Summer Glau in this film as well which her performance was brilliant. Let face it She is every geek's wet dream of course. But she really delivered the whole "I'm not really into this but I'm playing along with it" role. She looked amazing in her costume! Her on screen chemistry with the other characters was excellent. She is definitely one of the underrated actresses out there.

The film itself the plot is that of a very standard evil-monster movie and even though it had a very low budget - it manages to escape the feel of a B-movie. It even had some not bad CGI animation on the budget. The rock Ballard at the end kind of make up for the fault in this film, it reminds me of Tenacious D, the movie has that kind of feel to it,it one film i wouldn't rush out to buy your better off renting really unless your n to these types of film's, its does have some funny moments if you find them funny but as i said this isn't the greatest of film, it enjoyable good effort to entertain but fall short of being a great film unless your in to larping (Live action role play) at first it did have that dungeon & dragon feel to it but that kind of fades away during the film, this is one film that not going to be for everyone.

Dislikes : I think this film had potential to go a different way in the story line, like having them transported to a different realm i think this film would of been better than it was,but it failed slightly in that plot line which i think could of worked for the film, its not a bad film but i would pay £10 to see this at a cinema or on DVD.

Overall : Great acting, weak story-line, This is For the geeks really but still a funny film to watch.

Rating: 3.1 out of 5 for entertainment / 5 out of 10 for story-line/concept
