Film Review: Chariot

Genre:  Drama Thriller

Cert: 15 cert

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: None

Violence & Gore: one scene where a body is seen with a trout cut, man & woman get shot, guy punch a guy knocking him out.

Profanity:  Mild to strong language

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: two seen smoking cigarette's

Frightening/Intense Scenes: The intense would be from ending up on a plane no knowing why, thinking that the world as come to an end over nuclear war

Story: Seven strangers wake aboard a passenger jet in mid-flight, with no idea how they got there - and no idea where they are headed. Cut off from the cockpit and with a dying smartphone as their sole source of communication, they learn the U.S. is under a devastating attack... and they might be the only survivors

Likes :  The clever thing about this film is Throughout the film, the audience is never allowed to see anything the characters can't see. Therefore the film contains no exterior shots of the airplane which kinds of adds to the suspense & intense moment not knowing & wondering why their on the plane with no crew.
An unknown 727 flight with seven passengers on board who wake at nearly the same time. We are taken on a trip at 65,000 feet with these individuals who rather quickly expose their personality types and the view can easily see how each effects the outcome.
The Secretary of Transportation, Government Contractor, IT Expert, Master's Degree Student, Language Specialist, House-wife and a Truck Driver. Interesting, diversified group all on board one plane not knowing why or how they got through out the film you come t see their personality show trough as they see a disturbing news feed this is where this film take on the twist & conspiracy which this is what this film seems to be since it based on a true event in 2012.
the one thing that makes this a conspiracy is the fact that the film leave it open to your imagination just as two f-16 fighter jets were sent to destroy the plane after a failed mission, but its say at the end that 757 plane remands a mystery to what happened to it which scream's a government cover up for 7 lives to which had been nothing but rats in an experiment taken without their consent, were killed because the government failed in the experiment, to which smell like the government bullshit they would do.
This film wont be for everyone but its not a bad effort to tell a conspiracy theory of a government cover up pretty bold to make this film as well.

Dislikes : There is a slight bad acting, the way it ends kinds of leave you think did they survive or were they killed.

Overall : Not bad for conspiracy film, does have the era of mystery, pretty well made film.

Rating: 3.1 out of 5 for entertainment /  6 out of 10 for story-line
