Story: In Ancient Greece 1200 B.C., a queen succumbs to the lust of Zeus to bear a son promised to overthrow the tyrannical rule of the king and restore peace to a land in hardship. But this prince, Hercules, knows nothing of his real identity or his destiny. He desires only one thing: the love of Hebe, Princess of Crete, who has been promised to his own brother. When Hercules learns of his greater purpose, he must choose: to flee with his true love or to fulfill his destiny and become the true hero of his time. The story behind one of the greatest myths is revealed in this action-packed epic - a tale of love, sacrifice and the strength of the human spirit.

Likes : This film had its good points but this film had so many flaws as well in the writing, script some of the actors roles just the whole film in general.Good point i would say was the Choreographed fight scenes as well as Costumes design look authentic, Scott Adkins did a decent job as the evil King pretty convincing role as well played it with conviction so fair play to him in that role for pulling that off.
Liam Mcntyre as Sotiris the General brought real emotion to the film with a performance that was convincing, Gaia Weiss done a perfect performance as Hebe the love interest of Hercules, Roxanne McKee pulled her role off as well.

Dislikes : This is where im really going to have to pull this film apart im a big of fantasy this was far from it, This script alone had so many flaws even i was shocked & shook my head just on how poorly this film was executed.
Kellan Lutz don't get me wrong he not a bad actor given the right role but play a big character like Hercules sorry i don't know if its his acting skills or the way the character is written for this film it just wasn't a believable character for the son of Zeus. Fair play to him playing this role but he would of been better suit to a gladiator hero role instead of playing a son of Zeus i think this role was way to big for him as he not a seasonal actor that had big lead roles he always been in a back role like twilight.
The other thing that is wrong with this film is the story its self it made Hercules a complete wuss, as a son of Zeus there should be strength in a way that no man can win against him he was easy beaten by a few men that to me just didn't show a man that was a son of Zeus.
Some of the scene just looked fake special one scene of a horse chase you could see clearly it was a cheap green screen scene as well as some back ground shots as well it look like a wall with a painted landscape on it, as well as some C.G.I moments this just toppled this film over looking worse than an Asylum movie's C.G.I in films. Personally the better version will be out August with the rock it will have better writers & big budget.

Overall : Fair effort but disappointment in portraying Hercules as the son of Zeus, this is one film i would avoid watching.

Rating: 3 Out of 5 for entertainment / 3.1 out of 10 for story-line/ portrait of Hercules
