Sex & Nudity: The film is set in the tropics and many women run around in bikinis throughout. A woman walks into a bedroom with her top off and breasts are barely visible. She attempts to seduce a man but he refuses her. A woman strips down to her skimpy bra and panties & showers. A man pulls out a giant dildo as a joke. He then proceeds to intimately rub lotion on his girlfriend. They kiss and he pulls her bikini bottoms off. She pulls his head down and its implied he performs oral sex on her. She moans and orgasms. Two men discuss in vague terms how a woman is a nympho and what she can do with cucumbers.
A man is seen kissing the feet of his gf

Violence & Gore: A man cuts another mans throat, his own hand is cut open and blood sprays. Remnants of dead fish line the ocean floor, not particularly gory. Many people die from a flesh eating disease. Most spew blood and some rip off their own flesh. A man goes down on a girl and comes up with blood and gore all over his face, she pukes blood and bile on him. A man tries to pull up a woman, the skin on her arms peels off and some blood splatters. Explorers discover a compartment flooded with blood and piled with human body parts. One body rises up, just barely alive, and is chopped with a hatchet in the skull. Two women in the advanced stages of flesh decay fight each other. They rip off each others body parts and a great of blood & gore is shown.

Profanity:  F word thrown through most of the film.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: People getting drunk & high on weed on the beach.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Film has a dark and disturbing tone throughout. A man is held hostage and forced to help scientists. A man is left to die in a jail from a horrible disease, he cries and begs for help. Rooms full of bodies. Lots of screaming.

Story: A group of friends think they're going to the perfect spot for a bachelor party; a secluded private island. They quickly learn the island is not as private as they thought. The island is home to a lab thought to be empty, but in actuality a deadly, extremely fast acting, flesh eating virus has just escaped containment. Now everyone on the island has to fight not only to survive the outbreak, but also to survive each other.

Likes : Patient Zero starts off with promise but half way through it becomes all over the place over the place as a horror film with a twist & turns to want the hell is going one & why others are infected when he in a cell, but, to be honest, this is what you expect from a franchise that belongs to Eli Roth's original Cabin Fever. Unlike the first film which was a spectacular horror film given its cinematography and woodland location's, but, like its prequel, possessed lackluster characters that seemed to only be stereotypes personified. The second film, directed by Ti West, was kind of a mess as well, with a totally different focus, but still maintained its gross, shock-value with blood & gore ridden personality the franchise had created, although this 3rd film does keep the gore & blood its lacks what the first film had.Fans of the first two film might be dispointed in this film, so it not a film alot of people are going to enjoy.

Dislikes : This film seriously feel low budget, it looked like they tried to do the resident evil concept with a lad in the middle of the ocean on some island it fails miserable, what i also noticed is it lacks imagination but still trying to keep the horror theme which to be honest ha been done so many time the ending was just stupid & predictable.

Overall : Bloody gore film, weak subplot story-line, ok acting.

Rating: 3 out of 5 for entertainment / 4.1 out of 10 for horror concept
