Story: Tarzan and Jane Porter face a mercenary army dispatched by the evil CEO of Grey stoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan's parents, after they died in a plane crash.

Likes : The story of Tarzan of the Apes written by Edgar Rice Burroughs had been interpreted in many films since the 1930s. We all remember those classic films starring Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Sullivan as Tarzan and Jane. In the 1980s, there was an acclaimed film version starring Christopher Lambert and Andie McDowall as the legendary couple. In the 1990s, Disney gave us its own take on the story in its traditional 2D animation with a pop musical score by Phil Collins.
When you see the name Kellan lutz your think this is a live action film just because of his physic, but surprisingly this is a beautiful made C.G.I animated tale from the novel of  Edgar Rice Burroughs in which he doesn't have much speaking part taken on a modern day technology feel.
This incarnation of Tarzan gives the new generation an updated origin story starts off in the dinosaur age as a comet from outer space crash in to the earth, this comet years on has unscrupulous power that grey stokes company are after the unlimited energy source. Instead of the shipwreck, we have a helicopter crash this time. The young Grey stoke here was already a talking toddler rather than a newborn baby this is where this film take shape with some amazing animation of the jungle & mountains, as well as some animals we all know & some strange mutant creature clear created by the comet energy source.
I would say this film is more aim for the middle age between 8 years & up more than younger generation that Disney produce, but this film is not as bad as it seems, i think its been unfairly unrated by IMDB, its worth more than 4.6.This film does have some emotional scenes as well as some intense moments, this is worth watching for a animated film.

Dislikes : I think the story could of had a bit more adventure in it with lot more going on to be-honest but still a good film,at the begin there was a mistake in the comet hitting the earth it said 70 million years age when it was 65 million years ago.

Overall : Great mini adventure, great characters, heart-warming moments.

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 for entertainment / 6.7 out of 10 for story-line/concept
