Cert: Why this film was give a 15 cert is beyond me, this film is way to violent for a 15 cert, i would say 18 cert due to the level of violence.
Story: Six friends, who've known each other from childhood, break into the tower block they lived in as kids, now deserted and condemned, to rig-up a pirate radio station, get high and party. When one of the group goes missing, her friends begin to search the dark interior of the tower and soon realize that they are not alone: a resident psychopath lurks in the shadows and is hunting them down, taking them out, one-by-one.
Likes : A British film brought to you by Director: Menhaj Huda where a group of teenage having a seamless party & doing a favour for someone pirate station end up in a fight for survival against a psychopathic man hunting them down one by one,Ive seen some brutal films in the British market of films,this is seriously brutal.i love the fact its filmed with unknown stars it fresh & new what brutal about it is the fact this really look real in a way it could happen for real, there are some many flat building in London that are like this being a dark abandon building with a mad man living there is pretty much scary to be honest.I don't con-don drug use or alcohol use just to have a good time because you don't need to be on these things to have a good time,but watching this film,you could feel the fear of the actors imagine being drunk & high from drug use & you have a man trying to kill you at every turn, you mind is screwed up from the drug,drink & your scenes are impaired your not focused to survive that the fear concept of this film.This film is very nasty in place & very full of supense as you never know when this man would strike again,it was like he was toying with them,set them up & hearding them in one area so it was easy for him to get to,.some scene where viscous special when one girl is force down the garbge shoot that was just brutal.its was good through most parts the fact they did show the guys face all you saw was a hood figure & a dark shadow was good up to a point but it kind of last its scare factor as the film progressed.
Dislike: One thing ive always said about horror film's, you never show the killers face or whats killing them until the very end or close to the end it keep the audiance hook, it keep the fear & shock in the film,its why jaws was such a master piece of horror,this film was good,its was scary & intense for most of the film, but it made one mistake,the killer was relived almost half way through the film what i mean is you see he's face,that is the only let down of this film apart from that this film wasn't that bad.
Overall : Brutal,violent, intense moments & bloody if you like violent intense film's your injoy this film.
Rating: 3.5 out 5 for enetertainment/ 6.8 out of 10 for concept / horror theme
