Film Review : End Of Watch

Genre: Crime Drama Thriller, Contains strong languge, & strong violent scenes
Cert: 15 - 18 cert

Story: From the writer of Training Day, End of Watch is a riveting action thriller that puts audiences at the center of the chase like never before. Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña star as young LA police officers who discover a secret that makes them the target of the country's most dangerous drug cartel.

Likes : This film from the pointview of two police force officer in america stumble apoun a cartel bussiness & get them self in to alot of trouble, things take a very nasty climatic ending.Jake Gyllenhaal plays officer Brian Taylor, he play this cork ass copper that likes to film everything & get a the other officers nerves a little, Michael Peña plays he's partner Mike Zavala who thinks his partner is funny they been friends for years but get caught in this mess. This is not a bad film to watch,it has it moments where you think what the hell is going on,you kind of think to your self what the hell are these guys doing mess with the cartel after they screw with arrest warant from the drug inforce warning them to stay low, unfortunatly the end comes to a cinmatic fight for survival as the cartel puts a hit out on them, its a tipical police shot out film that been done before but is not a bad film in all,it dose have the odd violent scenes that you see with most cop films, this film is very dark & gritty style of film.

Dislike: the fact it was a little slow, & the camera work was shoddy at time you couldnt see what was going.

Overall : Some fast paced actions, gun shot outs, all in all not bad but not that good.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 for entertaintment, 5 out of 10 for action/police drama
